Obtained from wife’s sister sitting in mud in Mississippi. Used Jeep behind it to help get it unstuck. Hauled it home to to Charlotte NC area. Did tuneup, replaced fuel pump (old plastic just fell apart), new spindles, mulch kit, and fuel cut off solenoid. She rides again!
I did some work for my sister in law and she gave us her x300. It needed to be dug out of dirt and I roped it out using my JGC. I bought a come along and winched it onto a UHaul trailer. Brought it home and did a full filter change, oil change, spark plug change and fuel pump as one of the ends broke off. Put a battery in it and after about 6 or 7 cranks it runs! A lot of mud, leaves, acorns, and even slugs on the yellow mowing deck. Still need to clean that. But it works!
The 2014 Ford Escape with 1.6 liter engine had temp sensor and cylinder head temp sensor replaced and yet gives a warning on the dash that the cylinder head temperature is too hot. After taking it somewhere the scan tool read normal temperature. Also several faults occurred: ABS sensor fault, steering fault, and a couple others that were reset. Yet the temperature reoccurs.
