[AI] Does AI actually save time when designing Instagram carousels?

I recently came across a couple of TikTok videos showing how to design Instagram carousels in under 60 seconds. The latest one even included Canva. If you connect your Canva account, you can edit the design that Claude creates for you.
I don't use Canva, and I haven't used AI in any of my design projects but I see people bragging about this. At this point, I'm starting to wonder if I'm missing out because everyone keeps talking about how much time AI saves.
Designing Instagram carousels takes time, so I'm genuinely curious whether AI could actually speed up my workflow. I tried but every time I try to "hack" the design process to make my life easier, I end up getting frustrated and eventually doing everything the old-fashioned way.

This is the video I'm talking about (I'm not promoting or endorsing it):

Has anyone here actually tried this? Does it genuinely save time, or is it mostly just good marketing? At this point, I just feel stupid.

The Lilac Bus by Maeve Binchy. A short book I've ended up reading three times

I first picked up The Lilac Bus a few years ago without really knowing what to expect, and it has stayed with me ever since. I've now read it three times, which is something I rarely do.
The book follows a group of people who travel together every weekend on a private bus from Dublin back to their hometown. At first, they seem like ordinary commuters, but as the story unfolds, you gradually get to know each passenger, their relationships, their personal struggles, and the different lives they lead. Rather than focusing on one main character, the book shifts between multiple perspectives, showing how interconnected people can be while still experiencing the same situations very differently.

What I loved most was how every character feels like a real person with their own personality, motivations, and flaws. I especially enjoyed seeing how differently each person viewed the world and each other. The same event or relationship can look completely different depending on whose perspective you're reading, and I found that fascinating. It reminded me how much our own experiences shape the way we judge people and interpret situations.

It's not a long book, but it feels surprisingly rich because of the depth of its characters. There isn't a need for dramatic twists or fast-paced action; the everyday lives of these people are interesting enough on their own.

P.S. The cover is the Croatian edition since that's the copy I have.
