A fire hiding behind the clouds

In the deepest trenches of my soul, there is a fire burning..
You cannot see it yet, I cannot summon it yet..
For it is clouded by the darkness of my inhibitions..
Under the dense clouds of my insecurities and faithlessness..
But one day, I’ll come out of these shadows..
The shadows of my own thoughts which cover the fire..
And when that day arrives, there will be light..
A light so strong that it will engulf all the darkness within me..
A light which will illuminate everything that hides around me..
And I’ll see all the blessings that surround me..
One day, there will be light..

Planning a trip to Ooty this weekend, unable to apply for e-pass

Hey everyone, I am planning to visit Ooty this weekend by my own vehicle. I am aware that we need to apply an e-pass via https://epass.tnega.org. The problem is the whole calendar shows up as greyed out, not just for this weekend, for every single day upto September. Any idea whats happening there?

Also, what if I go without an e-pass? Any fines anyone is aware of?

Qatar Airways is offering 30% bonus Avios on transferring points from their partners

Hey everyone, just saw this ongoing offer and thought of sharing with the community here! Qatar Airways is offering 30% bonus Avios points when you transfer your points from a participating partner to Qatar Membership. In the attached image, you can see the list of partners. Although, there are some region distinctions for the partners. Only ALL Accor, Shangri-La circle and World of Hyatt partners are up for Global regions, rest of them are restricted to particular regions. So, for instance, even though you see HSBC in the list, its only valid in Qatar and UAE.

Nevertheless, here are some of the airlines which you can use to fly via AVIOS -

Qatar Airways
British Airways
Finnair
Alaska Airlines
American Airlines
Cathay Pacific
Japan Airlines
Qantas

For instance, I just checked a flight from Bangalore to Helsinki via Qatar Airways for a random date. If you book without points, its costing ₹80,000+. If you book with Avios, its just 32,500 points! This is just to give an idea how rewarding Avios points can be. So, if anyone has an international trip coming soon and plans to fly via these airlines, it can be a good option! :)

The offer is valid till 30th June, 2026.

Need advice for buying intervalometer in India

Hello fellow astrophotographers! I am going to be in Hanle, Ladakh next month and I am looking to buy an intervalometer compatible with Nikon Z5, which is available in India. All the recommended ones like JJC, Hanpusen, etc have long delivery timelines (upto 20 days or so) and I do not have that much time left. Any recommendations where can I buy it in India, any leads on local options which stock these equipments would be helpful!

Solo travel from Leh-Hanle on 14th July

Hey everyone, I am planning to visit Hanle on 14th July for some astrophotography, and watching the Milky Way! I am not really a comfortable rider on RE, so I am looking for other ways to reach there. Do you have any idea where can I get shared cabs from? Any leads would be appreciated.
