How physically demanding is Plumbing?

I’m an Apprentice E&I Tech, but really working more Industrial Electrical than E&I.
I think I’d prefer plumbing and I’ve been offered an apprenticeship in it. I’m just second guessing it because virtually everyone has told me Plumbing will be so much more physically demanding, it’s horrible work and that you’re so much better off doing what you’re already at. But I think I’d prefer Plumbing.
It’s mainly Domestic and Commercial work rather than Industrial Plumbing so probably a sizeable difference there.

Doing big mileage, what would you do?

Currently doing an apprenticeship and I'm traveling roughly 1300km a week, virtually all motorway miles. Surprisingly not that bad, next to no traffic so I just wiz along.

Have an E60 BMW, N47 but it seems well taken care of - Colm Quinn service history up until a few years back - Chain done by them then serviced by an independent guy after that.
Thing is since I'm putting so many miles on it I'm conscious about wear and tear and the cost when things do go wrong.

Debating if I'd be better off selling it and getting an Avensis or the likes.. Or should I just keep the 5 series?
