I know this is going to get a lot of hate, but it’s fine. Let the trolls of Reddit come out.
The scalping, the running after exclusive merch done by fashion brands (sweaters and non-functional glasses), community members trying to enforce “merch lines”, saving seats up at the barricade so you don’t miss out on precious posters…
What’s going on? Are we just fully being consumed by consumerism over a band that released a full album against plastic waste and pro veganism?
The price of scalped FoV2 tickets reach 700$. The lines for posters are insanely long and people scalp them. Venues and merch teams needed to implement poster limits on people at some of these shows. FoV is going the way of Cochella (renting luxury tents and cabins to listen to a jam band?).
Anyways, just some thoughts. If you truly love something you have to be able to see the flaws in things.

FOV - BIGGEST PSA/RAGE POST
THIS IS THE BIGGEST PSA/NOTICE FOR ANYONE ATTENDING FOV (and any gizzard concert really).
tl;dr - IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE PUSHED AROUND/ABSORBED INTO A CROWD OF HUMANS DO NOT STAND IN THE AREA MARKED DANGER ZONE. THERE IS NO SENSE OF PERSONAL SPACE IN THIS AREA. THE PEOPLE ARE NOT YOUR ENEMIES. USE YOUR WORDS.
IF YOU ARE HOLDING YOUR S.O WHILE STANDING AGAINST THE RAILING, DON'T ACT PISSED OFF WHEN THE HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE BEHIND YOU GET PUSHED INTO YOU LIKE A WAVE. THE PERSON BEHIND YOU ISN'T RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS. (unless they are DELIBERATELY being a dick, in which case, tell them to stop).

Over the years, as the bands following has grown (great for them) I have seen FAR too many clueless people who don't understand/comprehend what is happening. During many songs (particularly heavy songs) the crowd in the danger zone becomes a wave of people being pushed in and out. I have drawn for you exactly what happens at EVERY. SINGLE. CONCERT (that has open floor). This is something you can dislike until your hearts content, you will NOT change the outcome. There are way too many people standing in this area thinking they will peacefully stand the entire concert. Sorry, gizzard concerts are not like this. IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT DON'T STAND IN THE DANGER ZONE.
again, there are absolutely asshats who are rude, aggressive, and those people don't belong there. DON'T BE THIS PERSON. At the same time, do not be aggressive to the person behind you who is being pushed into you by the swarms of people behind you.

35 years old, got a bachelor's in English over 10 years ago, haven't used it once. Can it even do anything for me anymore? What can I do?
Since college, I have worked food delivery jobs, I've done personal support work for children on the autism spectrum, I've been a backpacking guide, I've worked as a paraprofessional in a high school, and now I deliver Amazon packages. I've been down on myself for a long time for having a very expensive degree and not knowing how to even use it. I know I'm a smart guy and I have something valuable to offer, I just dont know where I fit in.
Edit: Just came back to this post after a couple hours and I really appreciate so many thoughtful responses already. Damn. I feel like so often you make a genuine post on reddit and it just get lost in the ocean, maybe one or two people respond and one of them is probably a troll. I was at work comisserating and decided to seek out a subreddit for advice on a whim. Never expected to get this many responses. Definitely going to take my time reading through them. Thank you all

Minnesota Retools (MIN BOS MIL)
Why every team does this:
Boston: They get the lockdown center and just as importantly elite screen setter that they are looking for. They move Pritchard to the starting lineup and probably re-sign Simons.
Minnesota: They retool moving out Gobert and Divo, two guys that most likely aren’t going to be on the team in a couple of years for Derrick white. A much needed PG and a spacing center which may make Randle more playable (or they could still move him).
Milwaukee: Pretty simple you can still make the Giannis trade (or thus could be after the Gianni’s trade). You get two late firsts which you can use to start rebuilding and all you have to do is send out Myles and take on Divos expiring.

DNVR Nuggets podcast has been a great listen lately if you're into listening to nuggets fans melt down. Their episode from tonight included this excerpt describing Jamal Murray being guarded by Jaden:
"He was murdered and then dragged down to the defensive end so they could score over him. Ive never seen anyone get shut down in that type of way because he really was trying. Jaden McDaniels is going to be in his nightmares."
