The mirrors don’t lie. Chloe’s reflection with her evil self came true so the same can be said for Red.

The Irony Is Actually Hilarious

I’ve seen people get confused and/or mad, saying that Chloe was selfish during Wicked Wonderland and had gotten too angry that Red had been ignoring her, pushing her aside & whatnot. But y’all are forgetting a crucial detail about her character.

Chloe was homeschooled in Cinderellasburg her whole life before AP. She had very few peers (or none at all, which is likely). Red grew up under a literal tyrant mother in Wonderland. Chloe expects instant, perfect communication. Red is processing massive changes from her previous life. Red naturally isn’t gonna recover from 16 years of trauma overnight. But Chloe views the world through a fairy-tale lens. She expects everyone to follow strict social etiquette.

Chloe’s sheltered past makes her crave immediate friendship, which is understandable, and it’s not her fault. (You would expect her to be the one struggling with social cues, feeling awkward, or not knowing how to interact with peers)

Compare that to...

Red, who grew up in Wonderland where she had to build thick walls to survive her mother’s ruthlessness. Red is naturally guarded, independent, and used to being on her own emotionally.

Because Chloe was sheltered and raised on fairy-tale ideals, she has a highly idealized version of how school and friendships are "supposed" to work. But the real world is much more complicated than that, and I swear Chloe already went through this arc in Rise of Red….

Chloe hasn't spent years in traditional classrooms learning to navigate people who need space. When Red pulls away or ignores her, Chloe doesn't see it as Red needing time; she views it as a problem that needs to be actively fixed right now. Chloe demands attention in the moment because that’s what she’s used to getting.

(I’m 18 years old and have been homeschooled since 3rd grade. I’m in college now, so I guess my background in a similar situation is what urged me to make this 😂)

Plot Hole in The Rise Of Red

Okay, so, we know Merlin put a spell on the Sorcerer's Cookbook to prevent bad people from getting their hands on the spells, but something seems off.

How was Uliana able to use the book to pull the prank on Bridget in the original timeline if she can't even open it anyway?

Luis Madrigal Redesign

  1. I made his hair slightly lighter and gave him a tad more of those Madrigal curls.
  2. I changed his yellow vest for a blue one mainly because I wish the designers would have followed with the idea that everyone on Julieta's side of the family were all in cool purples, blues, and teals. Also, I think the blue is just a better color on him.
  3. I gave him felt wrist bands\bracelets in homage to his mom's wrist bands. Just a tiny detail that benefits.

Overall, I do believe his actual canon design is fine, but I think a few improvements would have sufficed.

King Beast Is The True Villain & The Fans Are Right To Hate Him

He threw the innocent children of the villains on the Isle for no good reason aside from the fact that they are villain kids. Everyone on the Isle was living in worse than poverty. Poor Mal, Evie, Carlos, Jay, Celia, Dizzy, the Smees, etc. They were getting punished for things that their PARENTS did. How does everyone in Auradon think this is fair? And there is no evidence that he even sent security teams to even check up on them and make sure they weren't suffering. I get that they are villains and did horrible acts, but come on, the kids don't deserve this.

Rather than letting the villains stay dead, Beast actively resurrected them (i still don't know how tf he did that) solely to lock them away. In movies 1-3, he's always complaining about the safety of Auradon. But Auradon wouldn't even be in danger if he never brought them back in the first place.

If he actually cared about how the kids were growing up on the island, he would have provided basic necessities. The kingdom shipped literal garbage and scraps of food to the Isle, well aware that the environment could not sustain crop growth, leaving residents to starve. Are you kidding me Beast?!

THEORY: Mrs. Lovat Made A Deal With The Beldam To Selfishly Save Her Own Life

Okay, so, it's not unknown that The Beldam's previous victim (before Coraline) was Wybie's grandmother's twin sister. She was lured successfully, had buttons sewed on....and that was the end of her. We never learn either of their names. Coraline refers to her as "The Sweet Ghost Girl" when she realizes that she was Wybie's grand-aunt after Wybie shows her the picture of them as little girls.

Now here's where it gets interesting.

The writers made the two girls twins. They could have just said they were sisters. But Wybie confirms they were twins. This means they were the same age where The Beldam would go after them. The Beldam was smirking evilly, because how she has two new victims she can lure in at the same time an get a double meal.

But something has always seemed off to me.

How did the Beldam get the sister...but not Mrs. Lovat?

One survived her tricks...the other didn't. It doesn't add up.

You could say that perhaps she crawled through the door and was never seen again...but it can't be that easy to guess. I mean, maybe it can be because Wybie said she "disappeared" but it could be deeper.

No....maybe Mrs. Lovat (as a girl Coraline's age) found out what had happened to her sister and realized she was next. To save her life, she made a deal with the Beldam. She bargained with her. She would get to live, so long as she gave the Beldam another child in exchange. Mr. Lovat as a child desperate to live promised she would give the Beldam someone else. So that is why she lets Coraline’s parents rent to her. She was keeping the deal she made all those years ago.

If I'm just losing my mind let me know.

They really think they can beat Maddox?!

I honestly have no idea how the hell they are gonna defeat this guy considering they have no defenses against his magic or his traps.

Maybe one by one Hazel, Felix, the twins, Pink, and Robbie & Luis will get got and Red and Chole realize how extremely cooked they are because the villain is so powerful.

This is when I want Max to lure Chole away from the group. He says he has a secret weapon his dad gave him that they can use against him. Max insists that he only wants the two of them to go. Red is cautious because she doesn’t trust this new version of Max but she trusts Chole can defend herself. Unfortunately for Chole she gets caught extremely off guard.

The weapon Max mentioned? It’s actually the bracelet.

He convinces Chole to put it on and the rest is history.

Theory about Chole turning evil

What if that bracelet is actually another one one of Maddox's inventions (Just like the Pocketwatch) and he gave it to make for reasons unknown.

Max gives it to Chloe as a love confession...she clasps it over her wrist...but somethings wrong...her body begins to tingle and get covered in crystel-like glassa

"Like the new me~?"

Guys. Hear me out.

What if. . . get ready this is kinda insane...

Bridget and Maddox were together in this new timeline and they had Max together...but he tried to drag her into his evil ways and wanted to rule Wonderland together side by side...but she rejected him because she still has her goodness intact...so Maddox wants revenge in present day. That's why he captures her and takes over the palace. So he takes their young son away to be raised with him. Bridget remarries and they have Red and Pink together.

Remember this,

In the og timeline, Maddox interupted court in ROR. But Bridget didn’t say “off with his head!” For interrupting them. She allowed him to speak. She still cares for him. The could have been together in both timelines just different circumstances.

Any Headcanons for the VKs?

Mine:

  • Just like with Uliana and her gang in The Rise Of Red the students are greatly scared of them and stay out of their way.
  • Hazel secretly smokes behind the school on Friday afternoons.
  • Felix knows this but he doesn't tell anyone
  • Hazel and Max are the closest in the group
  • Felix secretly likes Hazel but thinks he will get his throat cut if he tells her and the others tease him about it

Bonus Headcanon:

Neither Robbie nor Felix will ever recover from the trauma of floating helplessly in that giant teacup over those waves LOL

This Entire Franchise Feels Like Some Disney Nerd's Fanfic. . .

"And so the daughters of the queen of hearts, cinderella, captain hook, along with the sons of smee, luisa madrigal, dr. facilier, robin hood, and the mad hatter's grandson go on an adventure to wonderland to save cinderella and the queen of hearts after they are captured by the mad hatter's evil son."

"bro wtf."

Context matter's y'all

Alright.

I know how we feel about Luis having the same gift as his mom, but have any of you considered it could serve as hidden detail for his character?

Just think about it.

Luis was growing up famous for being in the Madrigal family, impossible expectations from the public, a legacy from his aunts, great uncles, cousins, and mother that he didn't believe he could continue.

When he was five, he wanted to be just as amazing as his mother.

He wanted to be strong, confident, brave.

He didn't want to be just himself.

So maybe, just maybe...the candle deliberately gave Luis his mother's gift.

Both to make him happy and because it would become useful later in his life.

Is The Romance REALLY Necessary? & How It Should Work (Warning: long post)

As much as I am excited to see Red and Chloe's romances play out on screen, I can't help but feel like giving them love interests complicates the story more than it needs to be.

They are already navigating a completely rewritten timeline and facing overwhelming new realities. Adding love to the mix just places another heavy burden on their shoulders that the story didn't really need in the first place.

Anyway, here is how I would guess and ideally want the romances to work:

  • Red & Luis Madrigal

Red and Luis shouldn't be attracted to each other simply because they're handsome or beautiful.

They each represent the life the other secretly longs for.

Luis sees someone who possesses everything he doesn't have, palaces, luxuries, being royalty, but quickly realizes she's emotionally imprisoned.

Red sees someone who possesses everything she's always wanted; freedom, creativity, a loving family, warmth. There's only one difference: Red now has all those things and she is still lost and doesn't know why.

Another thing is that many romances rely on is flirting. This one should rely on conversation. Their connection should grow because they continually discover things about one another. Those relationships tend to feel deeper and the audience would benefit from a relationship built on something better than what Mal and Ben had.

  • Chloe Charming and Max Hatter

This one I had to sit on for a while. Mainly because I don't see myself liking them as a couple. I know opposites attract, but I think they would work better as a annoying sibling-like duo relationship. I would have chosen someone else for Chloe.

Who will fall first? Her character movie description says that "As she tries to for the right thing, a boy she likes tries to pull her into his evil ways." so it's confirmed Chloe falls for Max first.

Chole will most likely start out not trusting the VKs, but Red will insist that they need them to help save Wonderland. I honestly for the life of me can't guess what happens next in their romance, but we know from one of the dolls that Chole will turn to the dark. How it's going to play out is up for debate.

Their relationship shouldn't just be "good girl fixes bad boy." in the end. Instead, both characters should challenge each other's worldview, with trust becoming the central conflict.

Chloe is someone who genuinely wants to do what's right. She believes people deserve chances, but also knows actions have consequences.

Max is charming, intelligent, competitive, and morally flexible. Growing up in this timeline as the son of the number 1 villain in all of Auradon taught him that power matters more than ideals. So he would probably see manipulation as survival.

If I were to do a rough guess: He probably won't initially try to make Chloe evil because he enjoys corruption. Instead, he genuinely believes she's naïve and uses that to lure her.

Being on the same quest to save Wonderland from his dad forces them together. Initially, no one really trusts him except the other VKs. He contributes valuable information about his father, how to get past his traps, how to avoid his magic, where he is keeping the Queen of Hearts and Cinderella trapped. Maybe he saves the group several times....but always in ways that leave Red and\or Chloe questioning his motives. Is he helping? Or is he trying to get us to trust him just for a betrayal?

This is where romance begins.

Instead of flirting, they should begin seeing parts of each other no one else does just like with Red and Luis.

Chloe should discover Max's fear of disappointing his father, childhood abuse, impossible expectations, genuine loneliness. Max discovers she isn't naïve, she knows people can be cruel to get what they want, she simply refuses to become cruel herself.

This changes his opinion. He no longer thinks she's weak. He thinks she's impossible to change.

Where the story goes from there? Honestly, we have too little information to make any more guesses.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Knowing it's a Disney Channel movie (with a pretty decent budget I assume) and the love stories are probably not going to be on the top of everyone's list in terms of judging the quality of the film, I at least hope that it is not predictable and we are decently surprised.

I don't really know what this post was, just let me know what you think.

How I Imagine Chloe x Max Will Go (this is mainly meant to be a joke)

"Hey, princess, being evil is so cool."

"What! No way! Your insane!"

Max then decides to up his game and turns the charm to 1000% in which Chloe starts to like him, maybe saves her life a few times, and she is completely smitten by the halfway point in the film

Max convinced Chloe to drink a potion because she trusts him now?

"mwahaha now let's find that pocket watch."

"couldn't agree more, babe."
