Not so long ago, I started content creation where I would mostly post longform content on YouTube about spirituality and mindset and I have an amazing circle of friends who support me and promote my content to other friends, but one of the instances made me feel unseen, where majority of the girls that received my content through my friend’s promotion, all they’d come up with is my looks, and they only click on the video too look at me and then click off asap when I really need the high audience retention to keep my videos from hurting the algorithm. I wish people could see me beyond my looks and appreciate the effort I put into the videos I make

Back when I was on dating apps I’d mostly receive DM’s from men telling me that I’m way too pretty to be on dating apps and need to get off them and some of them would also be surprised as to why I’m on there 😭
(I’m already over the dating app phase)

It’s so tiring having to constantly hear “you’re so pretty” all the time like can I hear something new for once? It’s becoming a rare thing to hear a sincere compliment where I feel seen. No wonder why Madison beer felt annoyed too when all she heard was compliments about her looks

I saw this cute guy on uni campus websites and mutual’s stories, we don’t know each other but I decided to follow him and he followed me back but and for a good two days he was the first to view my stories but one time I posted a video of myself and he immediately unfollowed me and kept me as his follower and turned his account public too!? I’m confused now because I already posted myself before and he viewed them but that one time I looked extra good on my birthday and he pulls this move😭what does that mean?
