Thought I’d introduce myself as a fellow Redditor.
My name is Itoro Umanah and I will be your new local reporter for Fort McMurray Today.

A little about me: I moved to Ottawa during the pandemic and recently completed my Bachelors Honours at Carleton University. Most recently, I was a video journalist and writer for the Charlatan (Carleton University’s Independent Newspaper) and briefly ran a mid-week news radio show on CKCU FM.
While I am working remotely at the moment, I’ll be packing my bags this August, leaving Ottawa to bask in all that the RMWB community has to offer.
I always want to hear your story. Don’t hesitate to reach me on email iumanah@postmedia.com
