Strange New Worlds is so good dude

This is such good Star Trek. I just got to Hegemony and the Gorn look so cool.

Shout out to Lower Decks. We've had it pretty good.

(Take me to your shareholder, algorithm.)

I made her catnip tea.

I made her catnip and silver vine tea in a bowl. I let it cool off for a bit before setting it down and she proceeded to do her normal catnip thing, which involves eating it, but also involves rolling around in it. I should have known better.

Corsairs in 5 or 10s blocks?

Had a pretty rough time with 5 and a Reave Captain. I could have probably kept them in the Rhino longer but I was greedy. They got mopped up very quickly by AdMech shooties. Do you typically run them in 5s or 10s?

Same game: Both Termies failed their charges after deep striking. It was rough all around.

Do you think there will be an Army of Renown with Temptation dice? (and next purchases?)

I'm too dumb for the new rules. I really enjoy the simplicity of the mortal Spearhead and generating depravity points. I know it used to be a thing. In the full game I'm sure you'd end up spending them to do things to make it a little more complex.

Tracking Paragons and the shift in Temptations doesn't seem like my kind of thing but I'll try it anyway, of course! It's probably not that bad. I'm bad, though.

An aside: I am trying to decide if I should get the new Spearhead and Battleforce to supplement my existing 20 ladies, 5 mounted ladies, and 3 fiends. I have the old spearhead, masque, hubris, two now defunct chariots, spells, terrain, KoS, 10 Painbringers. I mostly wanted the Spearhead to assist with my 40k EC roster. In AoS, I typically prefer mortals.

I already own thrice Thricefold. You read that right. I'd end up with 5 "extra" Painbringers. I'm not in a hurry to get on the table but I don't want to get scalped later.

Thanks friends

Someone tell me someone took screenshots of all the placeholder deity images for some MnM wiki.

Apparently they updated the art at some point and I lost my dear Trimminax; the fluffy cat. I wanted to show someone all the placeholder deity images because they were great. Did anyone snag screenshots of them or know of a wiki that has them for archival posterity? It is very important.

https://monstersandmemories.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:Search?profile=images&search=Trimminax&fulltext=1 :(

Edit: If someone can confirm that this is the main wiki I'd go through the trouble

Boarding Actions and White Dwarf Battle Report

Hey all. I'm new to Red Corsairs.

I searched around a bit and it looks like there may have still been some questions around Red Corsairs in Boarding Actions. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the materials include new BA rules, and the battle report from the White Dwarf has the player running the Heretic Astartes - Infernal Reavers detachment from the Boarding Actions book.

I've posted the roster from the White Dwarf and the other details from.. elsewhere. Towards the end of the battle report, there's a very small bit of text that cites the players are using the new datasheet rules from the Maelstrom materials (available on WarCom); no mention of Boarding Actions specific materials.

I won't post everything because I don't want to attract the ire of Gwendolyn, but this should be enough to get folks playing:

Huron Blackheart's Infernal Reavers

Mustering and adaptation rules redacted. ;) The battle report roster was listed in the WD and your opponent can just match your value. At least the data sheet rules are new?

Camden - Second Star (Obscure 2000s emo)

This one has an uplifting story!

Camden is a mid 2000s, third wave emo band from Las Vegas. They were around on MySpace and maybe Pure Volume.

As a kid I spent hours finding and downloading free music to put on my mp3 player. This was one of many bands I liked.

They recently got talking again and uploaded this single to Spotify. A few months ago someone posted asking about this video on /r/emo and the band members ended up showing up to identify the song and chat. They plan on doing a AMA at some point.

Anyway, I never thought I'd hear this song again. It was obscure then and it's even more obscure now. If you like this kind of thing, I have recommendations.

Also, I recently discovered a project called Lost Songs HC that's trying to archive all these old tracks if anyone wants to contribute.
