I’ll be that guy

When are we going to talk about this mini-game & what in THE HELL the devs were trying to say with it? It took me about 10 minutes to beat this. Not at all because this mini-game was hard, but because I was laughing about as hard as I did when I saw Garrison unveil “IT” because he hated air travel.

In The Jungle’s turn-based battles are way too frequent and tedious.

The frequency of these turn-based matches and the way they always play out is so incredibly boring and tedious that it almost makes this game not worth playing. It’s taken me an hour to walk from the beginning of the forest to the opening of the cave. These things need to be trimmed down.

To be sure, they’re not hard. In fact, it would almost be better if they were because it would make it more fun. It’s just the same thing every five seconds.

Am I the only person who feels this way about these battles?

Provo Canyon School Student Documentary Opportunity

I am helping produce a documentary on experiences at Provo Canyon School. I was there on two different stays during the 90’s, so I am a former student as well.

Before I begin, let me state this as gently and firmly as I can. The following opportunity is for Provo Canyon School students ONLY. There are plenty of other documentaries for students from similar schools. We’re not focusing on them. I went to PCS, so that’s my focus.

This documentary does not feature Paris and we will not be reaching out to her. Paris is an absolutely fantastic warrior for the troubled team community, and I have the utmost respect for her and her team. This is a conscious decision to move production away from Paris, who I feel has become too much of a figurehead for PCS. We want the focus on the everyday student who got lost in this system. I completely understand that Paris had a tremendous story to tell, but she’s kind of been heard on a lot of documentaries and I want to share the spotlight.

Right now, this is also an in person opportunity only. It may develop into a thing where we need additional footage and we will open it up to calls, but a production team is coming out and we are going to be focusing on in person interview interviews for that reason. If you cannot make it, I’m sure there will be other opportunities.

With these three things stated:

— PCS ONLY

— Not focusing on Paris

— In person only

Texas Pictures Productions will be filming a documentary from July 10 through the 13th, 2026. We are going to be getting a sign-up sheet for specific times going in the near future but for right now we are trying to get people who can confirm that they can participate in an in person interview in Orange County, California.

If you would like to have your story heard, please let me know through Reddit or on here and I will be creating an ongoing list of people who want to participate. Leave a confirmation of participation below and I will reach out to as many as I can. I’m probably going to create an email for this in the future.

Texas Pictures

I look forward to sharing more information soon.

By the way, THIS POST IS MOD APPROVED! Thanks to them for working hard with me. These people are credit to the name Reddit mod and I mean that with all my heart. Absolutely not the image of what you think of, people. These were GREAT mods and worked immediately to assist. Thank you to them!

Best Bako shooting range in 2026

So, I literally just bought my first gun ever at the age of 43. I picked up a Derya DY9 for $299. I am waiting for my background, which will be fine, but where is the best place to go shoot if I just want to go for one day? Are there any good, relatively cheap places that have deals for a one-afternoon/day pass?

Anyone wanna take me under their proverbial wing and make me a master shot?

Okay, I was only half-serious about that last part, but fully serious about the first question!

I need to preface this by saying none of what I’m about to say changes how I feel about the show or the fact that it is my all-time favorite television show along with Frasier. This is more for a humorous discussion than me being upset by anything. I just wanted to get that out of the way so somebody doesn’t think I’m venting or calling out the product.

That said, Shawn is a horrible human being. In the first season alone, Shawn: forged Gus’ name to get the office, taking $7,500 that they both earned and literally wasted it on roulette, ripped up Gus’s first edition comic AFTER the author went to jail for attempted murder, was signed by the attempted murdered the day of the event, and owned by the dude who caught the criminal. That book would have had huge value, and he ruined Gus’ date with that planetarium chick, even though Gus had a HUGE crush on her, and he made him ride in the backseat so a cat could have the front, he also drugged him to drive him to Palo Alto.
