Hi I'm Mari, one of the devs at Citreat Studio. We've spent the past year and a half developing the Dance of Theseus demo, and it was finally released last week!

It's a dress-up life sim game in which, by day, you gather materials, draw blueprints, and live in the monster world; and by night, you dress up to compete in monster ballrooms, win over picky judges, and play a strategy minigame to get the best scores. You can also farm, fish, befriend shopkeepers, and romance the ballroom bosses.

I'm a long-time lurker, occasional poster in the sub, and I often see people asking for a dress-up game without gacha or MTX, and it was a part of the inspiration behind us making this game. My friend Jenny and I originally had the idea for this game because I loved those old-school flash dress-up games and the original Love Nikki, and she loves magical girl anime. We gave the game a bit of a dark fantasy, Halloween aesthetic, but the gameplay is generally very stress-free and chill.
