Some shots while walking my dog this summer
I walk my dog every evening around Highland Park and Myrtle Park and these are some shots I took, thought some color may help now that we are in the brown days :)

This piece of Parral Jasper from Mexico that I tumbled turned out fantastic with this cool scene!
After years of wanted a topper I finally ordered one in February and had it installed last weekend after almost a two month delay.
I opted for the color matching and I have to say, the paint has held up well for 12 years in the PNW!
This is the first tumbled slab from a $5 Brazilian agate, I think, from a second hand store. The first cut showed iris so I slabbed up the entire thing. The rest will be going in soon!
I was up in Chilliwack BC for the BC Rock and Gem show and was able to do a bit of hounding on the Fraiser River and Harrison Lake. These are some of the rocks I collected and tumbled. A pretty neat mix.
A picture of my grandfather, background, in the 1967 issue of The Nortwestern farming magazine. He was a salesman for GTA feeds working in Montana. He’s also my namesake.
