Hardest Thing I’ve Ever Played In Church

I attend a Life.Church and At The Movies started this weekend. Our lobby’s theme is Monsters Inc so the other guitarist you hear in this video arranged this MONSTER of a walk-in song…

Last Night In Kansas City

Had the Quad Cortex dialed in really well last night! Some of the best guitar tone I’ve ever had! Band is Jake Stringer. We actually get to play for Sturgis this year!

Slow Dancing in a Burning Room on STEEL

You all know this song on guitar… but how about on the STEEL guitar?! 🤠

Twangy then DOOM

Every time I sit down to noodle it sounds like one of these two genres. No in-between 🤠🤘

The Old Barncaster!

Built using old wood that came out of a barn on our farm and parts from StewMac. I have it tuned to G-B-D-F#-A-D because that gives you a I, vi, and IV all in open position. The palm benders move the F# up to G and the A up to B. Super useable and fun to play!

Guitar and RIBS!

Every so often we will play a gig that has endless amounts of delicious food to eat. This show was at a smoked ribs cook-off. I’m grateful I was not responsible for picking a winner… 😋

Every May 4th I take a Star Wars song and give it a Western makeover. This year it’s Across the Stars — electric, acoustic, pedal steel, and bass, all recorded on the farm. May the 4th be with y’all. 🎸🌾
