I’ve always noticed many employees encourage you to mention them by name in reviews. I imagine it’s more than a “good job” by management, does anyone know what tangible things they receive? I’m sure it varies across resorts.

Our transportation driver recently told us he receives 20 pesos per review that mention him by name, “which isn’t a lot but every little bit helps.”

(Specifically curious about Mexico but would love to hear anywhere if people know)

To preface: I know Kalido is a legitimate and widely well reviewed company.

I booked Kalido 1.5 days ago. Today I received an alert my cc number was compromised for trying to purchase hundreds of dollars off stuff of some random website.

Kalido is the only time I’ve used this credit card in the last 9 days. My bank stopped the transaction and are sending me a new card, but curious if this has happened to anyone else?

My Kalido confirmation is from: kalidotravel@gmail.com … that’s legit, right?

Please, does anyone have the magic word or phrase to use with CS to fix this error? I haven’t been able to make an order in 6 weeks and looked at all the old threads of this to try to get advice but I’m at the end of my rope.

People advised in older threads escalating over and over, but I have and the conversation is COMPLETELY circular. Every rep just wants to do the same things I’ve done 4 times (empty my bag, ask me to check my payment info, insist it’s my bank/ card, say to check with usps which is insane). I have politely and firmly said there are countless people online this happens to and they need to UNLOCK my account. They just keep spinning me around saying it’s me and my card. I even tried to redeem w/ points and that didn’t work so it’s obviously not my card!

I missed out on a sale a few weeks ago, and the member savings event, and missed out on some sale stuff I wanted yesterday which is now sold out. I waited 2 weeks between attempts since I saw it was a frequency thing and it persists.

Does someone know any other “key word” or phrase I can use? I’ve chatted, I’ve emailed, I’ve called. I really don’t know what else to do.
