I have been experimenting with Holy Locket WD first item with E -> W -> Q max and it is incredibly good. VooDoo Restoration heals for quite a lot when maxxed.

Most of what I do in fights is -> Cask -> Maledict -> Death Ward -> run away and healbot till other spells come off CD.

You can casually have insane healing during team fights if you are positioning yourself properly and I do not see many others building it.

If there is no pressing need for other save items immediately I think this is a really good option for a 1st/2nd item.

Could somebody please help me get better at Tusk on 4/5? I think he is really fun and has a lot of great utility that's always good in pubs.

I feel like in some games its hard to not die every fight and getting a blink can be really slow. Also I am not exactly sure what to build after blink. Most games I go either FS/Glimmer cape depending on situation.

Also is shard worth buying? It feels underwhelming and something thats maybe nice to get froma torm, but not to buy.

- lane was hard and could not engage on ogre or WR. Tried to drag creepwaves but only started doing it l8r. Safelane fed and game was on downturn but their Magnus left mid game. I felt like I made good snowball saves this game for Drow.

-won lane because Dazzle did not know how to use Poison Touch correctly, but game was hard. Could not get many snowball saves from Axe call.

I started playing Ranked Dota around 2021 - 2022 on Support queue. Before I started Ranked I put a decent amount of games on Turbo and Unranked All pick because I used to be scared of queuing into Ranked. The highest I got after a fair amount of games was Archon 2/3 before I started college and stopped playing Dota. Fast forward to beginning of this year, Im done with college and now have a lot of free time to play Dota 2. I reinstalled and played my re calibration games.

I was really surprised that I recalibrated to Herald and thought I might be completely washed from before. But I have been grinding Dota a lot and I have shot from Herald 2 to Legend 4 from January to now. I have not really changed anything fundamental about my gameplay, I feel like I am playing similarly to how I played before. I have just been playing Dota, watching content about it (Jenkins/Gorgc), and following the pro scene.

This is genuinely not meant as some sort of snide humble brag I am confused on how I have ranked up so fast. When I played before I was stuck in Crusader for what felt like an eternity and getting to Archon felt very rewarding to me. I was expecting to get to Archon and have trouble climbing but as of now I'm on track to leave Legend in about 2 weeks.

I play Position 3,4,5 on NA West/East.

Could I please get some general advice on getting better networth on support? I have noticed in matches that I will have less deaths and more kills/assists than another support, but their networth is sometimes 1-2k above me.

Why is Blink Dagger not a core item for WD? I understand the utility/team aspect of buying Glimmer etc but I feel like the one thing WD suffers from is postioning. All his spells are short cast range with cast animations, and his ult requires you to be channeling it.People will buy dust when they see you have a glimmer and just reveal you instantly.

People buy Blink on Bane all the time but I almost never see anybody buy it first on WD, and both Bane and WD suffer from the same problems.

Getting blink first and waiting for an optimal time to get a good maledict ult on a high value target is better if you are playing this hero.

I have been getting blink first recently on WD and have been benefiting from it a lot as it allows you to choose exactly when you want to go in.

I'm aware in higher levels of play support budgets can be tighter so a Blink is not feasible.

If anybody has time I would like some tips on how to farm better on Tide. This game my team won, but I had really low damage and was the lowest net core on the team. I felt like I was hitting fine early item timings and farming/fighting where I needed to.

Lane was Tide - Snap vs Drow - Dazzle. I thought this lane would be really hard so I went 1-2-0 initially, but Drow and Dazzle never applied any pressure, so lane was chill.

I also felt like during most fights I came and participated. I pressed my buttons where I needed to but still my damage was really low.

I haven't played Doom Eternal in a year and booted it up to play it on Steam. For some baffling reason the main campaign dlc is gone and I cannot play the main story when I know for a fact I have played it before.

I have achievements from when I played the campaign as well to prove I have it, its not like I forgot to buy the campaign. Has anybody else had this problem? I have done the usual, reinstall, verify etc. I have also never refunded Doom Eternal or any of its DLC components.

For anybody who graduated today for UWS, did any of you have to purchase regalia at the dempsey center? How did it go? I am UWB student graduating tomorrow and want to know how the process went.

I would really appreciate if somebody more experienced than me in offlane could review my gameplay. I believe in this game we had a huge advantage that we threw away in the late game and to be honest I do not know how that happened.

I feel like I played well but towards the end I started to feel really useless in fights. Even with bkb etc I felt like I would die really fast and not contribute much to fights.

I would appreciate honest criticism as I don't really know where to start with this.

1.) When do you get Mageslayer vs pipe?

From what I understand mageslayer is good for shutting down individual high magic dmg users while pipe is good at protecting teammates from magic burst. But in games where mageslayer is good isn't pipe good as well, and isn't magelslayer a more selfish item? You won't be guarenteed to apply the debuff to the enemy magic user every time.

2.) Is general buildup for tidealways Bracer -> Phase - > soulring -> match dependent item (Vlads/pipe/mage)-> blink -> aghs?

3.) What games do you skip blink and go for aghs instead? I see it recommended as a potential option but don't know when it is good.

I just want to play support/hard support and have to queue offlane as well. I'm fine with that but why is the majority of games I get offlane instead of hard support? I have days where all I get is offlane and it is getting really boring. I just want to practice playing support.
