Hey everyone!
So I’m the author of the Webtoon Original Series Revenant, which started off on canvas. After we signed to originals, we decided to adjust the first episode by establishing some narrative elements instead of just jumping straight into the action like we did on canvas.
So my question is, which do you prefer as readers? An opening episode that establishes characters first, or jump straight into the hook and establish as the series moves further along?
For reference, the canvas version of revenant is still up (not for long, it will have to be deleted in the near future) if anyone wants to check it and compare it to the Webtoon Originals version. Both are on the platform and I’m really curious as to what everyone thinks 😆 as the author, I really weighed heavy on this decision so hearing your opinions and feedback would be greatly appreciated!
