I've had my Carli Backcountry 4.5" lift on 38's for about 8 years with the Fox 2.0 remote reservoir shocks. They've finally blown and although they still ride fine, I'm looking at replacing them. The rear shocks are fine.

I have a buddy running ADS shocks but I'm not looking to spend that kind of money lol

The replacements are about $800 shipped for the two front shocks but I'm curious if there's anything out there worth considering.

Here's the parts list and the situation.

Recently went through a 3 month process with Furitek after I purchased their Torpedo System with the Cedar motor and accompanying ESC. Long story short, they've sent me 3 motors and 2 ESC's and no matter what, they would not work together. Here's a previous post showing what it was doing. Great customer service but there's something going on no one could figure out.

A buddy lent me his truck with a Fat Viper and MBL32, I plugged the motor into it and it worked perfectly so I ordered an MBL32 and an NSDRC 7.4V BEC and just got the truck up and running yesterday. The MBL32 is switched to the 7.4V mode. I have not plugged it in to tune it or anything, installed it right out of the box.

After a few minutes, the truck stops running. I think it has something to do with the batteries but the power diminishes quickly and then suddenly stops running all together. I ordered a balance charger because it doesn't seem like these batteries are charging properly or holding charge. The charger I ordered also tests the batteries so I'll be able to figure that out tomorrow but I just want to see if anyone with more knowledge than me has anything else I should be checking or if some aspect of the electrical components are incompatible.

Most people see a lifted truck on government plates and shrug.

I see a $71,000-to-$85,000 Silverado 2500 with $5,000 to $8,000 in aftermarket rims, and I see the acquisition file that must exist if tax dollars signed for it.

You don't need a law degree to ask for the invoice. I never had one.

I bought a Torpedo setup close to two months ago and have had a few different issues.

I can confidently say you are getting top-notch customer service along with the quality of parts in the price you're paying for Furitek stuff.

I had to provide reasonable proof like some photos, video, etc which I was happy to do because the whole situation has had me stumped.

They never hesitated to make the situation right and were easy to communicate with. Even though it's sucked to not have my truck running, they've made the whole process very easy.

Are there any cigar shops or lounges that carry pipe tobacco and pipes?

I’ve checked a bunch of the cigar and smoke shops with no luck.
