Do you count pips when totaling a droid’s dice?

I went through many of the books in the system looking to see how many of the droids had 25 dice or less, making them playable. However, I didn’t count pips into the total (for example, I counted 3D+2 as 3 dice). Once I realized I may be in error, I looked at the sourcebooks again, but, frustratingly, neither the example in 2eR&E nor the example in Cynabar’s was a droid with any pips in its stats, so that did nothing to answer my question.

Weird thing about the app

Anyone else ever noticed that sometimes the app sends notifications that are announcing soundtracks that have already been on the app for months? I got a notification today that said “Now on Nintendo Music: Super Mario 64” which is incredibly old news. And it’s not the first time I’ve gotten a notification like that, informing that an album that has been on the app is “now on Nintendo music”.

Calling it now: tomorrow’s soundtrack drop on the app will be Wario Land

My evidence:

-Monday’s Mario Kart World free roam drops included a song from Wario Land.

-They just put Wario Land in the Switch Gameboy collection.

It would make sense for them to drop the Wario Land soundtrack now.

Edit: Well, that’s egg on my face. It was F-ZERO 99.

You know, if I could be completely assured that 1.) I wouldn’t encounter any monsters and 2.) I could teleport out at any time, I would love to walk around in Kane Parsons’s version of the Backrooms

It would be fun to just see what I could find. I would sit at random office tables, wander room to room, play a keyboard if I found one just to see what it sounds like.

The Backrooms series evokes a sense of dread (duh) seeing as it’s a horror series, but for me it also evokes childlike whimsy and a desire to explore. An endless indoor space just sounds so interesting to me. I want to wander, damn it!

Handy guide: If a Star Wars movie has a ship or droid model that appeared in a previous movie, it’s shameless nostalgia bait. If it has a new ship or droid model, it was created purely to sell toys.

The only good Star Wars movies have no droids or ships or weird aliens in them. That’s why my favorite Star Wars movie is the Godfather.

The old “Clone Wars Character Guide” I have from when I was a kid says “DC-15 blaster pistol” but the DC-15 is a rifle. Would clone pilots carry DC-15a short rifles or DC-17 pistols? Or something else?
