My First Asset Packs Are Out and Free!

Hey!

I hope this post is allowed here, I'm new to itch io and got an email after publishing my first asset packs mentioning this subreddit, apologies if this isn't allowed.

I'm trying to get my Pixelart into the industry and turn it from a hobby into a side gig.

I've just uploaded my first 3 asset packs, they're free right now to help get my page noticed, however I don't think they've been indexed yet since my account is a few days old.

While a follow etc. would be appreciated, what I would love even more is any advice or feedback from actual game devs as to what you look for in a good asset pack, good pricing, anything that's useful to you so I can hopefully contribute something helpful. Thanks everyone!

Here is the link to my profile, I have another water/elemental one in the works which will also be free on release!

Looking for feedback on my first asset packs

Hey guys, it's my first time uploading my work on distribution sites and right now they're free however I don't want to start charging until their absolutely perfect.

Any feedback on these would be super helpful, whether it's one particular icon that stands out to the rest and especially any advice from a game dev POV so I can understand what's needed from someone trying to use these.

I'm not sure if it's imposter syndrome but I feel like these are not up to the same standard as everything else I see out there, but I also don't want to compromise my own style so it's very hard to judge if these are different/distinct or straight up worse.

I don't want to break the rules and promote them directly here as they're primarily for feedback, but I will link my twitter in the comments for anyone who's interested in collaborating/learning along with me. Thanks guys!

Trying to make some items sprites, but I'm unsure on the colour palette

What colour palettes do you guys use for items?
I like the look of these, but looking at stardew valley and minecraft as examples, they have a lot more options for shading etc.

Any recommendations for colour palettes so I can take these a step further would be appreciated!
