I have a few things I would really appreciate help with. I’ve asked them in the EmuDeck Discord server but had no response. I’m asking them one at a time.

These questions are about Xenia.

I’m not sure whether this is an issue with Steam Rom Manager or with Xenia.

I want to add an Xbox 360 game to Steam, but Xenia isn’t showing up as a parser option on SRM. I can see Xemu, but not Xenia.

Does anyone know why this might be the case?

When I opened Xenia through Steam Library, a box came up that said ‘Attempting to install Proton - Experimental.’

I selected OK, as it was the only option. A box then came up that said the following:

‘Steam Machine Compatibility

‘Valve is still learning about Proton Experimental. We do not currently have further information regarding Steam Machine compatibility.

‘Install / Cancel’

I selected Cancel because I did not want to break anything. Xenia just didn’t open after that (understandably), and I was soon taken back to the Steam page.

These questions are about SRM.

One is about ‘RetroArch Genesis Plus GX’; the other is about SEGA Saturn.

For some reason, in the Parsers screen, I can see five parsers called RetroArch Genesis Plus GX. One has a Game Gear icon; two have a SEGA Genesis icon; one has a SEGA Master System icon; one has a SEGA CD icon.

I’m assuming all those systems use Genesis Plus GX to run in RetroArch. But does anyone know why two SEGA Genesis parsers are visible for me?

Separately, but also in SRM, I can see the SEGA Saturn icon on three different parsers; I’m not sure which one to select. One is called ‘RetroArch Beetle’; one is called ‘RetroArch Kronos’; the other is called ‘RetroArch Yabause’.

Does anyone know which of those three parsers I should select?

* On the Sega Saturn cores: When the default SRM parsers were selected, two of the three SEGA Saturn RetroArch cores were not selected: Kronos, and Yabause. This suggests to me that ‘RetroArch Beetle’ is the one to use for SEGA Saturn. Is this correct?

First, two things that I’m assuming are related.

EmuDecky isn’t working on my Steam Machine. It didn’t get added as a plugin when I installed it from EmuDecky, so I installed it from the Decky store. It doesn’t work. Does anyone know why this might be the case?

RetroAchievements are not showing or syncing when I play emulated games through my Steam Library, but they are showing when I play them through ES-DE. Is it possible to have them show in Steam? Or to perhaps toggle them, in case I want to turn them off during games I want to be immersed in?

Incidentally, auto save doesn’t work when I play the games through Steam Library, but it does when I play them through ES-DE. (I’ve only tested one game, though.)

(I’m using a Lenovo laptop with Windows 11; I downloaded DuckStation from duckstation.org just today, so I’m assuming it’s the most recent version.)

People in this subreddit have said to go to Internet Archive, but I’m not sure what files to download from there.

A website called psbios.me says ‘Download PS1 BIOS Files for All Regions — USA, PAL, NTSC, NGSC-J’. It presents four download options:

Is it a problem that some of these are in uppercase and some are in lowercase? (The answer is probably very obvious. Sorry about that.)

Are the psbios.me files the correct files? If so, should I download them from there, or from Internet Archive?

Also, the Wizard seems to want NTSC-J, NTSC-U/C, and PAL. Is the Worldwide one unnecessary?

If all of these are incorrect, what should I download instead?
