[S][CAN-NL] Nikon FM2n + 50mm 1.4 + Film

I’m looking to sell this as a whole.

The FM2n is well worn but mechanically sound. Meter works and is accurate, shutter speeds appear to be accurate as well. There is a dent on the prism that does not affect the camera at all. I have not yet developed a roll from this camera, light seals look ok but could be replaced.

The 50mm 1.4 is in fantastic condition. Some small signs of wear. Aperture is clean and smooth. There is zero fungus or haze.

A few rolls of expired film included. Storage conditions unknown.

Asking $375USD. Buyer pays shipping, I’ll cover any tariffs on my end. PayPal goods and services only.

Non functioning musket value as parts or as a whole, Canada

This was put out as trash in a rural community that I have a home in. Taken legally, I had asked the owners before hand. It’s very rusty and missing parts and is completely non functional. If it were to be sold it would be as a collectible.

Is there any value to this from an antique/collectors standpoint?

Is it better to be lightly cleaned and rust removed or sold as is?

I do have some experience in antique restoration, just nothing surrounding firearms.

Summerville

I had to run to Summerville today so spent some time exploring. I’ll usually scour satellite imagery for interesting things to check out but I had no idea there was a cemetery on a beach so far from the community.

Living Downtown is always an adventure…

I’ve lived downtown for almost 15 years so there’s very little that surprises me in the neighborhood. That is until today when three stray sheep showed up in the yard of the empty house next door. Someone must have called the police because they showed up. Shortly after an suv pulled in and loaded the sheep in the back and left. I cannot figure out where they came from. The photos aren’t the best, two are from cropped videos so my whole street isn’t visible.

First abandoned cabin of the season

I managed to get out for a short hike to this one this morning. The elements certainly took their toll here. Somewhere on the Bonavista Peninsula.

This little point is just under 1km from the main road to Trinity on the old rail bed. It’s just a bit tangly to get down to the rail bed itself from the road.

These were all taken at night using a tripod and long exposure. Most of these were almost impossible to see in the dark.
