Magic Key for Weekday Evenings?

I was hoping for some insight on using a Magic Key for random after work weeknight visits with an arrival of 7:00pm ish. I’m thinking about purchasing a key for that purpose mainly, with a random Saturday or Sunday a month. I’m most curious about same day reservations. Is that a possibility? Can I make last minute reservations on my way to the park? Does the key type determine reservation availability?

Also, when arriving that late in the day, are lightning passes still available, and would it be worth it?

I appreciate anyone’s insight and feedback with this wild thought of mine. I was thinking it would be nice to get some steps in, grab a snack, and enjoy the park even if it’s for a few hours after work on a regular basis.

My new favorite! Ushio 300 SLGB025

I have the best SA ever! This arrived at the dealer today. Their first one. I got a text with video letting me know that it was in. I knew it wouldn’t last long so I had to make my way over after work. As soon as I saw it in person, I knew immediately it was coming home.

While I am already impressed by my Ice Forest, I am enamored by my new Ushio 300. The way the dial detail captures and reflects light is incredible. Obviously green, it also looks grey or black at times, all with the reflection of water. For me, a 10 out of 10.

2024 530i - Keep or Replace?

Love my car, it’s paid for, lots of warranty left, and my plan was to keep it for along time, BUT tomorrow is consecutive day 21 of it being in the shop. Three weeks ago I was driving along and the instrument cluster and HUD went blank. The center screen indicated service needed and limited driver assistance. Even after multiple restarts and an iDrive soft reboot the screen would show initially with the check engine light on, then during driving it would go out again. The dealer has replaced multiple parts including the head unit and screen and there’s still issues, including communication issues. This all started about a week after the recall repair was done regarding the wiring harness behind the cabin air filter bay and its fire hazard issue. I’m sure it will get fixed eventually, but would you trust and keep it?
