i went to gmail which is 10x better than comcast but some stuff still goes to comcast email because some vendors/businesses/doctors email systems are crap and you can't change your email - its almost impossible.
anyway the geniuses at comcast have deleted all my forwarding and deleting filters for the 2nd time in 2 weeks......after i set it all up again.....
be aware if you have multiple cards that you use the correct card for renewal if that specific card reimburses you for global entry.
we have aadvantage platinum select and united explorer mileage plus, of course a certain someone didn't listen when i said use the explorer card for global entry renewals so she used the aadvantage card without telling me and she threw away a $120 benefit so live and learn.
global entry will not not not let you cancel and use another card, ...not a ton of money but annoying since united explorer is now $150/yr and the global entry is one of the main reasons we kept both our cards after the first year.

Concrete pavers vs concrete ? I know pavers are 2x the cost at least but we had cracks in concrete from year 2 so wondered if pavers for zone 7 are worth it
Coping vs cantilevered…we like the look of cantilevered but it cracks everywhere on the pool side and we are leaning toward coping stones
Plaster finish - we have basic white that looks nice and light blue when filled but of course is mottled and stained from leaves and stuff over the years. I am hearing white plaster is much lower quality now since they removed asbestos from the mix so a medium blue quartz is a better mid priced choice vs expensive pebble finish

i have had this pump replaced a couple times over the years and we use it about 15 times per season
all of a sudden its started blowing off - now after playing with it seems to stay on a bit but was wondering if i should put duck tape around the white pipe to make it fit tighter or just put a couple screws into the black fitting thru the white pipe? i assume the connection between the black fitting and the yellow sleeve failed (i guess it was glued not sure)
any quattro owners or former quattro owners here?
If yes do you leave it in the pool all season? we have a 4 mth season and when i took it in for service the guy said i should pull it out when not in use. thats not feasible so we leave it in all season - to remove a polaris connect i need to lay down on a towel and put my arms in and twist off the connection so its a PIA.
We have had this quattro for 7 years - before that had a polaris 360 for 18 years - we had the secondary pump so we just went with another polaris
issues include leaking swivel hose connects, spinning in place, wheels just spinning and not gripping for a few minutes at a time (new tires did not help) and it doesn't climb the wall, just gets stuck when it starts the climb and spins its wheels but it does clean most of bottom leaves.
i was think of replacing the gearbox myself to see if that improves things - OEM gearbox online for about $70 but i am close to junking this quattro and going with a dolphin nautlius
anyone else have quattro issues or have switched to a robot from a polaris type of cleaner and if so, is it much better or just a new set of problems?
this is year 3 - should i cut any of this back or just wait? when i send these pics to chatGPT its says its mostly weeds and to thin it out so more flowers can grow, but i wanted to see what others might say
