Alors titre bizarre j'en conviens mais rassurez vous c'est pire...

Avec des potes la on est en terrasse d'un bar et on a un n-ième débat chelou.

Tout pars d'un pote en commun qui est en couple avec sa cousine (il savait pas que c'étais sa cousine et l'as découvert récemment, ils sont cousins biologiquement). Et un de mes potes le traite de "détraqué", donc on s'est permis de lui rappeler qu'il s'est fait sa cousine par alliance.

Et du coup on a un débat, parce qu'on arrives pas a savoir ce qui pire comme romance :
- Ta cousine biologique qui est pas ta cousine
- Ta cousine qui est pas ta cousine biologique

New day New pain with my 8x22 Nambu.
I went to range yesterday, and finaly after a long journey, I managed to make loads that shoot fine, cycle and dont lead the barrel.
New problem : Even with a good crimp, not a heavy one, but genuine crimp non the less, I have bullet set back while racking the slide forward, the bullets instead of climbing the feeding ramp just stucks on it, and with the force of the slide, pushes the bullet inside the Shell. Is it a problem of cartridge overall length? Because I am under the original cartridge length. Not enough crimp? Despite the one I made? Anything else? But what?
À dude at the range told it might be because of my flat head bullets. Of course it doesn’t help, but I mean, several people use flat head 45 acp or 9mm and dont have such an issue.
So I guess I need help 😅

I just went to the range and had an issue with my 8mm Nambu type 14. And I struggle to understand what really happened.

Prior to this I had developped 2 loads for 8mm nambu with cast lead bullets in reformed .40S&W casing. It was working good, then I achieved to replace the lead bullets that gave me hard times cause of leading issues with copper plated bullets. I fitted them in my .40SW formed nambu casing, and it worked fine (cycled, no malfunction)

But then I tried to use them in actual 8mm nambu casing made by bertram. First of my 5 round batch => Squib, sounded like an airgun, the bullet stuck right in the beginning of the rifling. Then I look, all powder burnt, and a popped out primer.

Obviously I discarded the batch and disasembled it.

But I can't get what happened. The bullet worked fine in my homemade casings, all the powder burnt (actual carbon deposit inside (and on the neck) of the casing. Despite a popped out primer, it seems like it went underpressure. The casing did not expanded to the maximum of the chamber (I can put it back in the chamber and it goes smooth as butter which must not be possible on a semi auto, and the carbon deposit on the outside of the casing point toward an underpressure. I also measured the volume of homemade and bertram casing both shot in the chamber, the bertram one ended up with a smaller volume (16.9grH2o and 15.5 for the bertram ones). But in this case why would the primer pop off?

Between the loads, two things have changed, cases, and crimp. Same overall length, same load, same primer.

My hypothesis is that since I crimp my DIY brass way harder than the genuine ones, in the DIY ones, the pressure and the combustion had time to build up and then gas seal the chamber, which didn't happened in the genuine brass.

Do you think I am wrong? How to validate or reject my hypothesis?

Parfois, occasionnellement, fidèle à mes origines d’hacendado cubaines, je fume le cigare, sinon je prends une CE. Dans les faits c’est pas assez régulier pour causer des problèmes à long terme (une fois/mois max). Mais j’ai toujours entendu dire que fumer c’était moins bien. Mais moins bien comment? Sur combien? Etc…
On a moyen de quantifier à quel point c’est moins bien?

Bonjour à tous. L'autre jour avec les collègues on est sorti au bar, et il s'avère que la nouvelle serveuse est une femme qui était avec nous en primaire/collège. Donc elle nous reconnait, viens nous parler, mais en fait bah elle ne parles presque qu'a moi; genre comment je vais, mon taf, mes vacances, etc... Après son patron la voit, lui dit de bouger, donc elle retourne au comptoir; puis on va au comptoir pour chopper des consos, elle me reparle encore (rien qu'a moi).

Du coup ma question c'est : "ca peut être un signe d'intérêt, ou rien avoir?"

Et non je ne me berce pas d'illusions, je suis presque sur que c'est a 95% non; en même temps je saurais pas voir si une femme est intéressée même si elle me regardais avec les yeux d'un enfant dans une confiserie...
