I’ve been living in Germany for a while now, and I’m curious how others feel about the administrative system here (transport, Bürgeramt, paperwork, digital services, etc.).
From my experience, some things are very structured and reliable, but at the same time a lot of processes still feel slow, paper-heavy, and confusing—especially compared to more digitalized systems my mother country Korea.

I expected Germany has same quality and level of digitalization, social service. But it is not and kind of feeling it’s not working or lack of motivation to change.

For those who have lived here long-term or have experience dealing with German bureaucracy:
Are you generally satisfied with how the system works?
What frustrates you the most?
Do you think it’s improving or getting worse over time?

My roommate brings her boyfriend over almost every weekend. He usually stays from Friday until Sunday or Monday morning.

And during the week, one of her friends sometimes comes over and stays the night too. I think they usually arrive around 9 or 10 p.m.

It feels like this happens for almost half the month.

They’re not particularly loud, so I haven’t said anything, but the landlord didn’t like it before I came here and he previously told me to let him know if this kind of thing happens.

What should I do?
And is this right to bring people this often even you living with roommate?

They scanned my ticket and asked my ID card but I haven’t atm. So they asked my address and put my address on their device. Is it something wrong I did? Or just check.

I requested €240 from my friend on PayPal, and he paid the €240 while sitting next to me. He confirmed the payment via email, and I also checked my account, but the money hasn’t appeared. Even the payment request is no longer visible in my activity. Could you please help me understand what happened?
