Seeing the proshot tomorrow and...

I have no idea what to wear!! I'm taking a friend who only heard of it cause I told her about it yesterday and she wants to see it cause it sounds interesting (she's a history buff and a musical lover so perfect hehe) so I don't wanna go TOO hard.

I'm thinking of going with Aragon or Parr colors. I have a red dress made of flight light material that would have been perfect but honestly it's too thick for this Texas heat since it's vintage!

What is everyone wearing? Are we dressing? Cosplaying? Id love to see outfits and inspirations!

What are these little dudes?

Just walked outside my front door and saw these little guys and I guess a line of eggs. I blew on them and they barely moved. Central Texas.

Curious about pathways

Hii. I posted here a LONG time ago about what to do with my Medical Administrator degree. Well I finally got hired working at a small Primary Care Clinic at the front desk, I've been there a month and I really enjoy it. I'm still trying to get a lot of things under my belt, mostly been handling psych patients for our psychiatrist. I was told each of our physicians including our psychiatrist should have their own Medical Assistant, and right now we only have 2 when we should have 4. I was told that if I am interested the other MAs can train me and I would be the psych MA. Great. I'm super interested. Only thing I would not be certified, and apparently one of the girls there is not either. Would it benefit me to get actually certified alongside the training at work?

I don't think I would do this right away. I want to get more settled with the front desk, talking like 6 months or the end of the year before I would look into being cross trained if I still really want that.

I feel like it would benefit me to get both kinds of experience but I am unsure as I don't know how comfortable I would be with putting my hands on patients as I've never done that before, and I've always been more interested in record keeping and admin. I'm also quite shy and more to myself, not very confident (working on it) and that's why I want to get more settled at the front desk before I look into MA cross training.

I feel like this is a massive open door right now and there's so many paths I can take and (as always) it's overwhelming.

Thank you for any advice!! Sorry if this is a bit of a ramble 😅

Just finished a demo for Cat Named Mojave on Steam

Took these haunting stills! This is the first game from Stargazers Studios. Very much enjoyed the atmosphere, gave me callbacks to Feed Me Billy from Puppetcombo! Highly recommend! If you have played the full game, does it carry the same weight?

From the Steam page (for those interested): "Stranded in the desert, your only hope of escaping rests in a strange Catman. His one request: hunt down surreal creatures, skin them, and chop them up so he can keep them as trophies."

Honestly, this is the most devine thing ever.

Pleasantly surprised by this ice cream! It's almost more like a soft serve (I've never tried the Creamy Creations line so idk if it's like that all the time). I find lemon blueberry ice cream to be really difficult to balance, and this, with the shortbread crumbles, is heavenly. Highly recommend. Also it's pretty to look at.
