Good evening! I just got this monitor in and I am on the factory settings.

I notice when I am working in excel or have a windows explorer tab open, the color changes and I can see my desktop wallpaper bleed through the screen. When I click off the excel program and click on my windows wallpaper in the background, the explorer tab and excel changes color back. Is there a way to turn this off?

I have tried going through the monitor settings with no luck.

MEMORY: 64GB (32GBx2) DDR5/6000MHz (Team T-FORCE DELTA RGB

MOTHERBOARD: MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI AM5 ATX w/USB4, Wi-Fi 7, 5GbT LAN, (3)PCIe x16, (4)M.2, (4)SATA CEC

POWERSUPPLY: 1000Watts - ASRock SL-1000G 80 PLUS® ATX3.1 & PCIe5.1 Ready

I am currently on a build from 2021 with a 3080 and a LG UltraWide QHD (34WP65C-B, VA)

In 2021, this was a pretty high end setup IMO and it is still going strong but I plan to pass it on to the wife and kids to use.

I am willing to splurge on another 34 inch ultrawide up to $1400ish. I plan to play at 1440p ultra settings.

After doing some halfway decent research, I think I want to get the new ASUS ROG SWIFT PG34WCDM 360HZ or the MSI MPG 341CQR.

I was able to find the PG34 on Newegg but cant find it anywhere else. The MSI MPG 341CQR I cant seem to find anywhere lol.

Curious what you all think I should do??

In 2021, this was a pretty high end setup IMO and it is still going strong but I plan to pass it on to the wife and kids to use.

I am willing to splurge on another 34 inch ultrawide up to $1400ish. I plan to play at 1440p ultra settings.

Plan on using it for work and also playing call of duty.

Unsure if I want to go with a 1440p or 4k monitor - would be ultrawide regardless of resolution.

Want to replace 2x16 in a current build instead of adding 2 more 2x16 as I read it could cause issues.
