M-Stitch QC issue question. Anyone nick yourself on the blade when it’s closed?

The tip of mine got me on my finger and I realized that you can hit the tip of the blade under certain circumstances. Is this a normal stitch thing?

First Microtech and new to the Ram-lok. Question.

I have read that there is no detent and the blade is held in place with the lock. Is the blade supposed to move when forcing the knife downward with the blade closed as if you were trying to gravity open it? It doesn’t deploy but there is some movement.
