Went on a mini wildlife photography hike on Saturday and came across a few new species, thought I might share some photos.

Got a photo of this cormorant having breakfast and was curious to know what species the breakfast is

Just found out about the existence of this subreddit and thought I’d post my favourite front facing photo I have

Took this one a while back down at my local park and safe to say he was not looking to be disturbed during breakfast

First came across the Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo in early January this year but I unfortunately missed the shots due to a group of magpies swooping them.

Since then they have been on my list of highly desired species to photograph and after a long wait I finally was able to get some good shots over the long weekend.

It was a pretty surreal experience being so close to them especially considering how shy I’ve heard they can be. The first batch are a little dark because I wasn’t really paying attention to my camera settings but I’m just happy I finally got to meet them and get some photos up close.
