Couldn't resist making this after discovering the Lost Forever font.

I recently came across the Lost Forever font and thought it'd be fun to make something with it. The font includes a selection of LOST characters, so I used the available ones and put together this little collage. (And of course Vincent had to be front and centre. 🐕)

Jack, Ana and Vincent deserved more scenes together 🩶

Created this using the Lost Forever font and then remembered this scene exists. 😆

Every rewatch makes me appreciate the dynamic between Jack and Ana more. Add Vincent into the mix and somehow it becomes even better.

There's something oddly comforting about this scene. No big speeches, no major plot twists, just three characters sharing a quiet moment together.

Jack and Ana understood the pressures of leadership in a way few other characters could, while Vincent somehow managed to improve every scene he appeared in.

Every rewatch leaves me wishing we'd gotten more moments like this. Am I alone in this, or does anyone else have a soft spot for this trio?

EDIT: I may try to do this with all the characters that are available!

This scene says so much without anyone speaking

I've never been a huge fan of the love triangle, but I've always found this moment between the three of them fascinating.

Jack looks at Kate, Kate looks back at Jack, they exchange a reassuring nod, and then the camera cuts to Sawyer's face. Nobody says a word, yet it feels like an entire conversation takes place.

I also love the way the scene slows down as it cuts to Sawyer. Whether you read his expression as jealousy, love, guilt, regret, longing, acceptance, or something else entirely, it carries a lot of emotional weight without relying on dialogue, which is one of my favourite things in television.

I'm curious how other people interpret this moment on rewatch. What do you think each of them is thinking here?

Lucy Chambers and Fintan Buckard at the Great Manchester Run 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Lucy Chambers (actress who plays Cat Guthrie) recently shared this TikTok featuring Fintan Buckard (actor who plays Ben Drake) from the Great Manchester Run. I thought it was a really nice and funny behind-the-scenes moment between two Waterloo Road cast members. It's always great seeing the cast supporting each other outside the show. Looking forward to seeing both Cat and Ben in Series 18!

LOST visually frames Jack and Ana as parallel leaders in Season 2

I’ve been rewatching Season 2 and noticed something interesting about how LOST frames Jack and Ana. Both are introduced as the leaders of their respective survivor groups, and the camera often mirrors their body language and positioning in scenes. They’re usually the ones standing at the front, assessing situations, making decisions, and carrying the pressure of leadership for everyone else. When the two groups finally meet, their dynamic feels less like “Jack meeting another survivor” and more like one leader meeting another leader. Even visually, the show often places them opposite each other in ways that feel intentional.

It makes me wonder if the writers originally planned to develop their dynamic further before Ana Lucia’s storyline ended. Did anyone else notice these parallels on rewatch?

Do you think Jack would’ve reacted to Ana differently after Shannon if they hadn’t met before the island?

It still fascinates me that Jack and Ana met before the crash, before either of them knew what was coming. After Shannon’s >!death!<, most of the camp turned against Ana or kept their distance, which makes sense given what happened. But Jack never really did. He was one of the few who still tried to talk to her, comfort her, and make her feel like she wasn’t completely alone.

It makes me wonder how much their airport meeting shaped that. If they hadn’t met before the island, would Jack have reacted more like everyone else? Or was it just his nature to see past what happened?

I’ve always thought he remembered her as the woman who sat beside him when he was grieving and somehow got him to smile. It’s interesting that later, he’s one of the only people trying to do something similar for her when she’s carrying guilt.
