I have noticed one difference between my new XB7 and others online. Some same year models say XB7 on the dash, but mine says X7. Did they accidentally put the wrong panel in? Should I ask the dealership to correct this? Mine also is missing the Alpina badge as well on the dash.
Thoughts?
I happened to stop into my local BMW dealership and they had a brand new 2025 XB7 at 12 percent off MSRP. I couldn't resist. So she came home with me.

I am currently in the market for an LX to replace my Ineos Grenadier. The Ineos falls flat on its face as a family car as the rear facing carseat forces anyone in the front passenger seat to be sitting in the dash. It wouldn't be a problem for a shorter passenger but for taller passengers, its really uncomfortable.
Can anyone speak to rear facing car seats in the LX700h and the amount of usable legroom in the front seat remaining. The only video I found was of a mom that said she was 5' 2" and doesn't apply to most people including my 9 year old.

Decided to walk to lunch today and bring my TPS-L2 along with my new Crook One mix tape. Realized I have the perfect carrier. Its a match made in heaven!
I walked to lunch today and decided to take my 1st Gen Walkman. It dawned on me that I have the perfect carrier for it. 😆 It fits perfectly! It can hold my player, a tape, my wallet, phone, and keys.
I had to share!
For those unaware, I purchased this bag at a steal of a price 650 under retail due to extreme cigarette smell. Upon arrival, it was wat worse than I expected, smelling like it sat in a smoke casino or bar daily.
Fast forward 9 days and the smell is gone. So what did I do?
Day 1 and 2 - packed charcoal odor removal bags inside and let it air out all day on my patio in the ocean breeze.
Day 3 - Scrubbed bag and straps thoroughly with saddle soap and horse hair brush. Let air dry. Buffed with clean microfiber. Put bag in large ziploc bag with charcoal bags stuffed inside and out.
Day 4 - let bag air out for an hour and put back in ziploc.
Day 5 - replaced charcoal with coffee beans and grounds in small container. Sealed in ziploc.
Day 6 - new ziploc bag and new coffee.
Day 7 - replaced coffee with charcoal after airing out for 30 minutes.
Day 8 - stayed in bag with charcoal.
Day 9 aired out bag and wiped it down.
Smell is gone.
I am completely shocked at how well it all worked. I hate the smell of smoke and took a chance on this bag. I did lose hope for a minute when Day 6 rolled around and there was still a lingering smell.
But she is ready to wear!

I found a steal on this rare bag (nearly retail), but she smells like smoke. I have some work to get her cleaned up, but I am in love and will match perfectly with my cassette wallet. Will share more pics when she is cleaned up and ready to wear. Any tips on smoke smell removal are appreciated. I have a charcoal bag inside now, and is airing out on my patio.
