🤡 behavior as always

The comments on this reel and many other posts show that we Telugites are the ones who can always be manipulated with ease.

Forget the political angle. What's eating at me is that protesting is a basic right of everyone, and it is being taken away from the people of the greatest democratic country in the world.

Switch from Non IT to Data Analyst

I'm 27 M and dropped out of CA way back in 2020. I have been working in non IT sector (BPOs) since 4 years. Currently working as Quality Analyst in Hyderabad and CTC is 5.5 LPA.

The growth in this sector is slow and future looks bleak. I am planning on switching by joining a data analyst course or certification available online.

A few things I'd love the community's input on:

Does this switch make sense given my background and age?

What CTC can I realistically expect after switching, and how long might it take?

Which online course provider would you recommend — Google, IBM, Coursera, UpGrad, etc.?

Any advice or personal experiences would mean a lot. Thanks in advance! 🙏

Do I need a laptop to learn Data Analytics? (I currently don't own one)

Got my old silver valued at GRT Jewellers, Visakhapatnam — did I get a fair deal?

Yesterday I brought in 118g of old silver to GRT Jewellers in Visakhapatnam to get it valued. They assessed it at approximately ₹17,000 total.

I ended up exchanging 57g of it for a 30g chain (valued at ₹7,000) and a fish pendant (₹2,000) — so ₹9,000 worth of new jewellery, with no cash back.

Here's what's bugging me: the jewellers said they valued my silver based on its purity, which they assessed at only 52–60%. Their testing method was pretty basic — they just made a small cut on the piece and applied what looked like an acid solution (probably nitric acid, which is a standard jeweller's test).

My concerns:

Is 52–60% purity a reasonable assessment for old silver jewellery, or does it seem suspiciously low?

Did they use a reliable testing method, or should a proper assay have been done?

Given the exchange I made, was this a fair trade or did I leave money on the table?

Would really appreciate input from anyone familiar with silver trading or jewellery valuation in India. Feeling a bit unsure about the whole thing and want to know if I should have pushed back.

Unable to apply Illness

I am trying to withdraw my employee share. Illness is grayed out in the Umang app. Is there any cooling period before we can apply for the same reason? I last withdrew in April
