replacement brackets for U Shaped unit?
I have a Frigidaire Gallery 8,000 BTU U-Shape Window Room Air Conditioner, pretty much a copy of the Midea. The issue is that I moved and lost a piece of the bracket that would hold it in place on a window, the L bracket, fixing, long.
I asked around and Frigidaire is charging 100 dollars to send out the entire bracket when I only needed the piece... Same with Midea's replacement parts.
So I'm wondering if I can just get away with ordering a third part window bracket from Amazon, like this one: https://a.co/d/0fDer0iK

a company is building a BESS across the street from where I live... what do I expect?
It's going to be in a residential area, a small plot of land that was formally a small parking lot. It's supposedly a small battery storage unit for the larger one that's several miles away...
Whats the noise like? And will it have lights on 24/7?

Bought a house here a year ago, now there's construction of a BESS happening across the street.
there goes my house value and sanity. I should sell before the construction is over...
