Are Eno Hammocks compatible with other Brands Underquilts?
Hi guys I don’t want to bore with my backstory but i’m homeless and want to buy a relatively cheap hammock (Eno). But I want to be able to buy a cheap hammock and be able to use it in winter. I have no idea if I will still be Where I’m at right now this winter. But, where I live now can get relatively cold. This past winter it got as cold as -12F or -24C. So I want the base hammock to at least be cheap if i’m going to spend money on an underquilt and a topquilt, too. As far as I know Eno doesn’t make subzero underquilts OR topquilts. Does anyone have any experience winter hammocking AND mixing and matching different brands underquilts and base hammocks? If you do, please comment an idea to help me out?

Trying to leave Detroit
Does anyone have any recommendations on where a recently made vagabond should go? I mean beside the obvious answers of Boulder, Portland, San Francisco, etc? I’m looking for work or will be looking for work in the Fall and Winter so I can leave my state. I ain’t built for this Midwest Weather no more!
What do you think is the easiest city to bum it in is?
I’m talking considering everything. Odd job availability, social services, proximity to places to sleep (woods, beach, etc), proximity to highways, walkability, etc. i’m new to this but I think I have to move because i’m currently stuck on a Peninsula in the Upper Midwest 😂 i was thinking of going to SoCal because it’s mild in the winter and there might be a job opportunity but I also know the job market is saturated because of high immigration. I was also thinking of somewhere decently walkable but rich like the cities surrounding DC. what do you guys think? Give me your best opinions below 👇 please 🙏
Hypothetically how would you spend $1000 if someone gave it you on the street? Would you save it for Urgent Care Visits, Bus Tickets, Phones, or Food? A combination of all of them? Or would you risk it all to move someplace where you can find work or enroll in a work program? Give me your breakdown of what all you’d spend it on.
Any other men experience discrimination from a Food Bank? I went to one recently as I have literally no income. And they were extremely dismissive in my “interview”. I told them my situation and they scoffed and yawned through the whole thing. And when I was walking away they were laughing. I knew i’d get weird looks from other clients of the Food Bank being a man, but from the employees is crazy to me. This happened literally right after a random woman was interviewed who I perceived to be lying. They gave her money FROM THEIR OWN WALLETS and GAS CARDS and a whole food order! This probably sounds pretty whiny but I was just amazed. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised or have expected anything else from a church organization.
