Does anyone here jump around workouts and still see results?

I’m finding it hard to stick to a program at the moment because life has been crazy and we have faced sickness after sickness in our household. I think I’m going to start just choosing a workout each day based on my energy levels, rather than being strict about a program. If I have time, I’ll do a longer session and if I’ve been up half the night, I’ll just do something quick. My questions are: what is a good structure to follow if I’m doing this? I am planning to do 4 sessions a week and then 1 Pilates class.
And has anyone done this and still seen results?

Send me the motivation I need!!!

Finished Epic Heat in May. Barely missed a workout. Was feeling strong! Then winter hit and my kids have had rolling sickness ever since. I’m up most nights and up early in the morning. I usually do my workouts first thing, but it’s incredibly difficult to get up and get it done when I’ve had only 4hours of sleep and need to work. Then in the afternoons it’s dinner, kids bed and straight to bed in the hopes of some shut eye before the chaos begins.
I’ve restarted iron 3 times. Each time only getting to day 3 cause of this winter flu season. I’ve decided to stop putting pressure on myself to do a workout each day and keep with the timetable, and instead do each day in order and if it doesn’t happen for two days, accept it and go onto the next workout when I can. This has worked this week despite barely any sleep and I’m up to date 4 tomorrow when really I should be on day 6. I’m worried I’m not going to really see the results I want so I am really focusing on my diet at the moment, and when things calm down I plan to go back to the start and do it properly like I did Heat.

Give me the strength to get through winter

With my first I do not remember winter being this absolutely miserable when my first was a 1YO! We have had rolling sickness since May and just as we seem to be seeing the light - we are hit with something else. We are about to start daycare and I’m gearing up for another horrific month and lots of sick days. To make matters worse, my partner and I have both started new jobs. I am at the point of considering resigning just so I can look after the kids as I’m sick of having the anxiety of calling in sick!

Microfibre cloths in every high traffic area

I have a fortnightly cleaner and would clean on the off weeks. A month ago I began leaving microfibre cloths in all bathrooms, and any other high traffic areas where the surfaces get very grubby. I have always done this in the kitchen but decided to do this in more rooms throughout the house. It’s been a game changer to how long my clean takes. I wipe everything down every time I use the space (eg making a morning coffee in the butler’s pantry, or after brushing my teeth of a morning, or doing the kid’s bath). It takes all of 15 seconds and means when I do clean, I only really need to focus on the bigger jobs and floors. Tell me your other daily tips! I’m all for working smarter not harder!

Nearly 12m schedule

I cannot for the life of me work out my son’s schedule!
We seem to be getting 5am wakes daily regardless of what we do. Occasionally I can leave him until 6am as he is just babbling, other days he is up by 5:20am.
We also have a toddler and she was starting to transition to 1 nap by this stage so wondering if it’s just a matter of needing less day sleep? By this stage she was only doing a 45min morning nap and 1h afternoon nap.
We will always do his first wake window from 6am, regardless of wake time, in order to not make his wake time any earlier.
Wake 6am
First nap 9:30-10:45
Second nap 2-3
Bedtime 7pm.
We are also finding that the second nap he sometimes doesn’t fall asleep until 2:15. And sometimes he is awake by 3pm when we go to wake him.

What are your kids doing? I’ve asked chat gpt and sick of its advice!!!
