Can anyone who knows about KEA PGCET M.Tech counselling please clarify? I found a document verification notification that mentions only Biotechnology, Chemical, Environmental, Polymer, Textile and M.Arch branches. Does this notification apply only to those branches or for every MTech branch , was there a separate document verification notification for CSE, ECE and other M.Tech branches? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks! 🙏

Hi everyone,
I have a doubt regarding Karnataka PGCET M.Tech counselling and would appreciate advice from anyone who has gone through KEA counselling before or anyone have knowledge regarding this .

I completed my B.Tech . However, I have 1 backlog subjects from my 6th semesters.

My backlog exams are scheduled from the end of July and will finish around August 15. The university usually declares the backlog results within 15 days, so my results should be available by the end of August.

My concern is that KEA document verification may happen before my backlog results are declared.
My questions are:

Can I attend document verification with all my semester marks cards, including the 5th and 6th semester marks cards showing the backlogs?

If they ask about the backlogs, can I explain that my backlog results are awaited?

Will KEA allow me to participate in coun selling and ask me to submit the updated marks card later after I clear the backlogs?

Has anyone here attended Karnataka PGCET counselling in a similar situation with pending backlog results?

Please help 🙏 Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I’m planning to join MTech CSE through management quota because I don’t think I’ll get a very good rank in PGCET. I know top colleges are good, but many of them are asking very high fees (10+ lakhs for 2 years), which is difficult for me due to financial issues.

My budget is around 2 lakhs per year, so I’m looking for decent colleges with reasonable fees, good placements, and a good learning environment for MTech CSE.

If any MTech students or anyone who knows about management seat admissions in Bangalore/Karnataka colleges can guide me,
please suggest:
Colleges with lower management fees
Whether placements are decent for MTech CSE
Which colleges are worth joining in this budget
