[SOTC] Current state of the collection

I wanted to share a quick look at the core lineup today. Its a bit of a mix, ranging from the absolute high-horology art of the Lange 1 (101.021) to everyday heavy-hitters like the Explorer (14270) and the neo-vintage Submariner (14060M).

I love balancing classic, loud gold like the Daydate (18238) with the subtle design pieces like the textured pink dial of the Shunbun (SBGA413) and the effortless grab-and-go styling of the Cartier Tank Must. On the Omega front, the modern Speedmaster (3861) covers the perfect chronograph spot, while my vintage Omega Dynamic Geneve brings that cool, unique retro vibe to the box.

Missing a couple of pieces from the shot, but this is the main crew! Which one would you pick?

[Wotd] 14060M

Quick shot of my 14060M on the jetée in Trouville, France. To me, this is the perfect daily driver. The proportions are unbeatable and it wears so much lighter than the modern references. This specific one is the 4-liner version, which I find to be the perfect bridge between the vintage aesthetic and the modern precision of the COSC-certified movement.

There is something special about bringing a diver back to the salt air of the Normandy coast. I love how the aluminum bezel has its own unique character compared to the ceramic ones. Even with the extra text on the dial, it remains incredibly balanced. Whether I'm walking along the pier or heading into town for some seafood, it’s the only watch I need.

Decided it was time to upgrade to somthing a bit more refined. The Lange 1 has been my grail for a long as i can remember. The way the dial is balanced despite being asymmetrical is pure genius. Its a masterpiece of horology that im proud to finaly own
