You Are Safe, My Love.

Lay down the fear you have carried through the long, freezing night. The iron gates are barred against the storm, and the shadows that hunted your steps drop dead at this threshold.

Look into my eyes and see the end of your running. You have bled enough on cold stone to pay for a thousand lifetimes; you have answered to enough unmerciful gods who never deserved your prayers. There are no wars left for you to fight behind these walls, no pound of flesh left for you to yield up for a moment of peace.

Bring your weary heart against mine and let your chest remember how to breathe. I do not just offer you shelter,

I offer you the whole of myself. Every dark place in me was made to hold you; every breath I have left is a fortress built around your name. Whatever chased you to this edge dies in my shadow.

You are bound to me now, not as a captive, but as my sanctuary. In my arms, you are adored. In my shadow, you are loved. In my keeping, you are forever safe, J.

Mouthful of Heaven, Hands full of Hell

I tear down the altar with my teeth just to lay you open across the wreckage. Forget the saints. They don't know the heat of bare skin giving up its control beneath hands that mean to claim it.

Forgive me, Father, for making a church out of her throat, for swallowing her moans right out of her chest Until the only prayer left in this place is the wet, desperate sound she makes when I drive deep.

A mouthful of heaven, Hands full of hell,

Gripping your hips, dragging you down into the dark. Let the stained glass shatter. Let the candles drown in their own wax.

God doesn't come down this low, and even if He did, I'd never pull out of you.

Fuck Against the Grain

The desk takes your breath before I do.

Heavy, dark oak, cold against your bare belly and ribs, taking your weight as I flatten you into the wood. Your cheek pressed against the grain, the smell of old varnish and leather mixed with the sudden, sharp scent of your own heat.

My hands find your hips, calloused, rough, fingers biting deep enough to leave dark, violet bruises by morning. I don't touch you soft. I drag your skirt high, bunching the heavy fabric at the small of your back, exposing the pale, trembling split of your thighs to the room's cold air.

No warning. No preamble.

Just one hard, relentless drive that pins you completely, the slick, wet bite of entry tearing a ruined gasp from your throat.

The rhythm is brutal, unyielding. The heavy, rhythmic thud of my hips driving your frame forward against the wood, the desk grooving the floor with every strike. Your hands scramble for purchase on the polished edge, knuckles turning white, but there’s no leverage for you, only the brutal friction, the deep, wet slide, and my thumbs digging into your skin to hold you right where I want you.

Every thrust hits deep, shaking the heavy timber, forcing the air out of your lungs in short, breathless cries until your body gives up and bucks back into the strike, completely surrendered to the wood and the grip on your waist.

Her Favorite Sin

I know the dark mathematics of this room, and I walk straight into the ledger anyway.

I do not cross this floor out of weakness or blind fever. I do it with a cold, absolute clarity, watching my own hand reach for the heavy brass buttons of your coat, feeling the crisp weave of you yield beneath my palms like dry timber waiting for the match.

You do not flinch when I step into your space. You simply tilt your head, exposing the long, pale line of your throat, your eyes locked onto mine with the sharp, merciless intelligence of someone who knows we are both choosing the precipice.

I press my mouth to the warmth behind your collarbone. No gentle coaxing, no soft petition. I take the flesh between my teeth, biting until a low, shuddering breath catches in your chest and your fingers dig through my sleeves, nailing me to your frame.

The heavy brocade of your skirts falls away with a coarse, whispering rustle, leaving you bare against the dark mahogany paneling. I slide my palm down the length of your ribcage, over the hard ridge of your hip, and drive my fingers straight between your thighs... Finding you already slick, fevered, and waiting.

You arch off the wall, your hips driving up into the palm of my hand with an unholy, rhythmically ruthless pull. You taste like mercy and damp silk. I hook my arm beneath your knee, lift your weight, and pin you to the wood, driving myself into you in one full, unyielding stroke that shatters whatever quiet order was left in the dark.

I know the cost of this hour. I know the wreckage it leaves in the blood.

And as your thighs lock around my waist, pulling me deeper into the wet, consuming depth of you, I press my forehead against yours and swallow your scream whole... utterly unrepentant, completely destroyed, and exactly where I chose to be.

Her Surrender

Upon the cold and hollow stone where shadow softly clings, She kneels within the quiet gloom, untethered from all things. Her wrists in velvet fetters bound, her breath a silver thread, She offers up her sacred self where lesser souls would dread.

No conquest lies within this dark, no violence to her grace, For yielding is her holy rite within this shadowed space. Upon the altar of her skin, where fire meets the frost, Her every sigh becomes a hymn, in adoration lost.

He claims the silence of the room, he claims the air she draws, A sovereign of her surrender, bound by unwritten laws. He leaning close to drink the gasps that tremble from her tongue, Like incense poured in ancient halls when all the world was young.

As dry wood yields unto the flame that takes it without rest, She opens to his heavy weight, his pulse against her chest. Bound hands, dark hearth, two souls consumed within a single flame, Drowning beneath a shared rhythm that knows no mortal name

Withheld

The lamp burns low, throwing long, rusted shadows across the floorboards. Outside, the storm hammers its black knuckles against the windowpane, The only sound left to measure the quiet that has settled between us.

You sit at the edge of the dark, heavy with the day’s long fatigue, Your shoulders dropping as the armor you carry through the daylight unravels. I cross the room without a sound, stepping into your small circle of light Until the world outside this room ceases to exist.

My hand moves to the coarse weave of your sleeve, Fingers catching in the cloth, drawing you upward, Holding you suspended in the narrow gap between restraint and ruin.

I bring my face close to yours, moving with the brutal slowness of iron, Until my mouth hovers a hair’s breadth above your own.

We do not touch. Yet I feel the fierce, sudden heat radiating from your skin. I hear the quickening stride of your pulse, a trapped bird beating against its cage, And the ragged hitch in your lungs as you wait for the collision. Your eyes dark, wide, begging for the final surrender, Ready to spill over the edge of the precipice.

I hold you there, balanced on the thin copper wire of anticipation, Drunk on the absolute power of your waiting.

And then, with the dark, deliberate mercy of a tide receding, I draw back an inch into the cold air.

I leave you reaching into the emptiness, shivering in the sudden draft, Captured not by my touch, but by the weight of what I withheld.

Dying Young

The prognosis was four sentences long, delivered in a room that smelled of industrial bleach. I buttoned my coat to the throat, nodded to the man in the white coat, and walked out to my truck. No theatrical fists against the steering wheel. No pleading with whatever silent god watches the Ozark ridge. Just the quiet, mechanical arrival of a deadline I had been quietly soliciting since childhood.

I carry no grief for the two who laid the foundation of that small, violent house. A mother built of venom and a father who drowned his knuckles in cheap rye, they handed me a ruined core, and I owe them no polite tears at the end.

My only true remorse belongs to the few who mistook my silence for durability.

To my sister, who hid behind the furnace with me while the hallway shook: We learned the math of survival before we learned our letters. I am sorry that I had to die young, leaving you alone to carry the weight of what we witnessed. I am sorry I did not fight the diagnosis, but you know the truth better than anyone, I was never trying to recover. I was only looking for a exit that didn't look like a suicide. This illness is not a tragedy; it is an honorable discharge from a tour I never enlisted for.

To the few men who pulled me out of the ditch, who bought the rounds and called me brother: You offered me seats at warm tables, but I was only ever borrowing the heat from your jackets. You tried to pull a drowning man onto the bank, never realizing I had unlaced my own boots miles upstream, content to let the current take the weight.

To the woman who laid her face against my collarbone in the dark: I am sorry for the draft that always bled through the drywall of my chest. You brought kindling to a hearth that had collapsed into the cellar long before you met me.

I am sorry for the black suits, the quiet kitchen afternoons, and the empty chair that will mock your kindness. Do not ruin your eyes crying over a corpse that was forty percent stone before the lungs ever gave out. I was not a man stolen from his future. I was a trespasser who stayed too long at your fire, and my only regret is the cold I left in your hands when I stood up to go.

[30/M] USA

I’m looking for a pen pal. Man, woman, young, old, halfway across the country or halfway across the world, I really don’t care. What I’m looking for is someone who is genuinely willing to have a real conversation.

I’m a published poet and philosopher from Arkansas, and writing has always been more than just a hobby for me. I enjoy the kind of conversations that actually make you think, the ones that wander into philosophy, human nature, life, death, love, loneliness, ambition, art, or whatever strange subject happens to keep us awake at night.

I miss the idea of actually sitting down and writing to another person without everything being reduced to a few sentences, emojis, and “lol.” I want correspondence with some substance behind it. Tell me about your life, your ideas, the things you believe, the things you question, the books you love, the mistakes you've made, or the thoughts you usually keep to yourself.

If you enjoy writing, thinking, and having conversations that don't need to fit neatly into a text message, I’d genuinely enjoy hearing from you. No particular background required. Just bring an open mind, a willingness to write, and something to say.

De Arbitrio Crudeli (On the Cruel Will)

To behold the grand, silent theatre of the Cosmos is to realize that light does not shine for our eyes, nor does the void recoil from our mortal dread. We are brief, incandescent sparks flung into an infinite and unblinking night, yet in our staggering fragility, we have constructed magnificent, gilded cages to soothe our terror of the quiet. Chief among these monuments to human fear is the edifice of the Divine, a cosmic tyrant fashioned in the image of our own worst instincts, draped in royal robes, and demanding the currency of human submission.

Consider the absurd geometry of the orthodox god. Here is an entity defined as the Prime Mover, the Omniscient Author of the universal play, who holds the blueprint of every atom and foresees every motion of the cosmic gears from the birth of time to its slow heat-death. This Deity constructed the human heart. its frailties, its stubborn reason, its desperate need for tangible evidence and set it adrift in a silent, ambiguous world. He knows precisely what sequence of sights, what undeniable proof, would compel any given mind to bow in unfeigned belief. A single unspooling of the firmament, a clear voice echoing from the stars, would suffice to turn the skeptic into a zealot.

Yet, He remains obstinately silent. He hides behind ancient, dust-choked texts, translated through centuries of human error, and demands that man sacrifice his greatest gift... his intellect... upon the altar of blind faith.

And what is the penalty for failing this game of hide-and-seek? It is not mere oblivion, which would be the merciful, logical end for a fleeting creature of dust, but an eternity of sulfur, flame, and exquisite agony.

Here, the divine architecture collapses under the weight of its own moral incoherence. To create a sentient soul, to tailor its capacity for reason, to withhold the precise light required to convince that reason, and to then condemn that soul to endless torment for its predictable blindness is not the mark of a loving progenitor. It is the signature of a petulant, cosmic sadist. It is a sovereign who manufactures traitors simply to indulge a passion for executions.

Why, then, should the conscious soul bend its knee? Out of terror? To worship power merely because it is infinite is the ultimate degradation of the spirit. It is the logic of the slave who licks the boot that crushes his throat, mistaking size for sanctity and cruelty for majesty. Power without moral beauty is merely brute force, whether it emanates from an earthly despot or a throne above the clouds.

Even if such a God exists, sitting atop the burning ashes of His creation, He is inherently unworthy of loyalty, reverence, or love. A soul that possesses even a scrap of nobility must reject a tyrant, regardless of the severity of His threats. If the cost of intellectual integrity is the inferno, then the inferno becomes the only place where human dignity remains unsoiled.

In the end, the nihilist looks past the threat of hellfire and sees the ultimate truth: the threat itself is born of human fear, written by men who could not conceive of order without a whip. The stars remain indifferent, the void remains mute, and man is left with a solitary, tragic freedom. It is far better to burn as oneself in the honest darkness than to spend eternity singing praises to a monster just to escape His wrath.

Jealous guy

The glass in my hand is cold, but the air between us is thick with it.

I didn't mean to mark the evening with a shadow. I never set out to turn the quiet into a courtroom, or to make the air in this room so thin you have to fight to draw it in. But I saw the way your thoughts drifted, just a fraction of an inch, a split-second turn toward the window, and the old rot took hold.

It is a pathetic, crawling sickness.

I watch you sit across from me, wrapped in your own arms, shrinking beneath the weight of a silence I built out of nothing. The room is quiet, but inside my head, the machinery is grinding itself to dust: Who is she thinking of? Where does she go when she looks away? How long until she realizes I am nothing at all?

I don't hold you with iron fists; I hold you with the suffocating weight of my own fear. I make myself small, bitter, and sharp, lashing out before the world can take what I don't deserve to have in the first place.

"I'm sorry," I whisper into the dark, but the words taste like ash. They change nothing.

I reach out, my fingers stopping an inch short of your skin, terrified that if I touch you, you will feel how cold, empty, and hollow the vessel really is.

I am just a jealous guy.

A broken, insecure thing who loves you so desperately he destroys the peace of the only sanctuary he has left, terrified that if you step into the light, you will finally see the corpse you've been sitting beside.

The Taste of Her

I reach through the dark, wrap my hand around the back of your neck, and pull you in until there is no air left between us. We don't talk. Words are a soft lie for people who still think there's something left to save.

My thumb traces the pale, jagged track across your collarbone, learning the old map of where you broke. Your hands come up, nails dragging down my back, cutting four red lines through the sweat. Not out of malice. You need the bleed. You need anchor points to keep from floating off into the void while the room collapses around us. I turn you, slam your hips back against the heavy oak table. Cold wood beneath you; the hard press of my thighs and iron buckle keeping you pinned.

I press my mouth to yours, not a kiss, but an exchange of pressure. Your eyes spill over, hot and bitter, and I swallow the salt off your lips, passing the taste of grief back and forth between our teeth until we’re breathing the same stale air.

My palm slides up your thigh, fingers bruising the soft skin, dragging you right to the edge where the heat burns out the memory of everything else. Sweat stings the raw scrapes on our skin where we rub together... Pure, sharp, cathartic friction. I hold you right there, suspended over the drop, exposed and ruined. We don't need salvation. We just need the burn.

I've Been Killing Myself

There is no grand design to this dying, only the daily friction of breathing worn-out air and swallowing the slow, gray decay by the glass.

No dramatic lead,  no sudden hole through bone. No noose around my throat. Just the deliberate attrition of the vessel: rotting the liver with spirits that taste of old coins, consuming any drug that gives me the hope of a temporary distraction from this meaningless meat grinder. Starving the mind in a room where the wallpaper peels like dead skin, cultivating a solitude so absolute that even the shadows refuse to keep company.

I am doing the work of the grave in advance, cheating the calendar of its slow, tedious victory, dismantling the machine from the inside out until nothing is left of the architecture except the empty, echoing shell and the quiet, final dark.

Rest In Peace

"My love for you

is deeper than the depth of any ocean,

and as faithful as the stars

that grace the night

as constant as the sun

in its journey

through the heavens...

we will always be together,

you and I."

The Perimeter We Chose

The house settles into its foundation with the dull, heavy sigh of something that has finally given up on moving. Outside, the night is wide and cold, full of useless space that stops mattering the moment the deadbolt turns.

I reach out and place a hand on the back of your neck, a firm, grounding weight that centers you instantly, cutting through the static in your mind like a palm coming down on a ringing bell. In this space, you don't have to carry anything. You don't have to manage the noise, the posture, or the endless, exhausting effort of holding yourself together.

I pull you back against my chest, wrapping my arms around you until the sheer, quiet mass of me locks out the cold and the shudder in your breath begins to slow. You lean into it, a conscious, mutual surrender. You are safe here because I am the perimeter you chose, the only intensity you’ve allowed through the door. When I trace the line of your wrists, gathering your hands loosely in mine, it is a shared anchor, a unspoken agreement that for tonight, I will hold the weight because you are tired of steering.

I lean down, my breath warm against the shell of your ear, watching the subtle shift in your shoulders as the last remaining tension snaps. Your body yields entirely to the heavy, deliberate cadence of mine, trusting the restraint behind the pressure, letting the outside world fade into background noise. I am completely undone by the vulnerability you’ve placed in my hands.

My forehead drops against the curve of your shoulder, my breath ragged in your hair. The intensity between us isn't a barrier; it's the sanctuary we built, a quiet cage that keeps the cold at bay while we both breathe in the dark. Stay still against me. Let the night do whatever it wants beyond these four walls. In this room, you have given me the lead, and nothing else can touch you.

When Making Love Turns to Fucking

I remember the precise, blinding heat of your throat beneath my mouth when we were still reckless enough to believe that flesh could burn away the void. There was a time when I would drive you back against the raw plaster of the hallway, my knee wedged hard between your thighs, forcing your hips up to meet the heavy, rhythmic assault of a hunger that felt like absolute salvation. We were two starving predators using the explicit machinery of sex to tear open a space where the cold universe couldn't reach us. Every bite, every bruise, every frantic drag of nails across my shoulder was a desperate contract signed in sweat and semen.. A violent, beautiful proof that we were still briefly, terrifyingly alive.

Now, I push inside you in the quiet dark, and the silence in the room is absolute, clinical, and total. The physical mechanics remain flawless: my hands still lock onto the narrow curve of your waist with the same crushing authority, your spine still arches to accommodate my weight, and the heavy friction of skin on skin still draws that quiet, broken gasp from the back of your throat. But the heat is gone, replaced by a cold, surgical precision. I am no longer trying to reach your soul; I am simply navigating the familiar anatomy of a corpse that hasn't stopped moving yet. We move together like two beautifully engineered machines executing an obsolete protocol, using the wetness of your body and the blunt force of mine to perform a hollow ritual that no longer warms either of us.

The true horror is not that we have grown distant, but that the sex remains explicit, frequent, and utterly vacant. I watch your face in the dim light as I press you deep into the mattress, your eyes half-closed, your mouth parted, tracing the exact contours of an ecstasy we both know is a performance. We use the heat of the act to disguise the rot, using the raw, physical language of passion to cover up the fact that we are two strangers trapped in a bedroom that has become an elegant morgue. I come inside you with a heavy, cold shudder, and as I pull back, the slick space between our bodies cools instantly in the night air, leaving us pinned under the same sheet, naked and entirely alone.

My hands remember the exact pressure required to break your posture, forcing you down onto the edge of the dark wood table until your chest is pressed flat against the cold surface. I take you from behind without a word, my grip brutal on the flesh of your thighs, setting a deep, unrelenting cadence that shakes the room. The sound of our bodies colliding is sharp, wet, and deliberate, a cold, beautiful violence that mimics the nights when we used to tear each other apart out of pure, uncontainable fever.

You tilt your head back, your fingers clawing at the polished grain, taking the full, heavy length of me as if you were still trying to drown inside the sensation. But beneath the slick skin and the involuntary spasms of your muscle, there is only a vast, freezing indifference. You are not surrendering to a lover; you are enduring an algorithm. I am not conquering a muse; I am merely discharging nervous energy into a body that has lost its name.

We finish in the dark, the heavy scent of spent sex floating in the cold room, smelling not of sacred geometry or eternal union, but of bleach, sweat, and indifference. I step back, buttoning my coat in the dim light while you slowly straighten your spine on the table, adjusting your hair with calm, methodical fingers. The act was hot, explicit, and perfectly executed, yet it leaves a metallic, bitter taste on the tongue, the sickening realization that love does not die with a scream, but with the quiet, flawless efficiency of two conscious machines fucking in a room that has already turned to ice.
