Abnormal purchasing and return activity
STORY TIME TO EXPLAIN THE SITUATION IN DEPTH
I’ve had a massive issue with Amazon and DPD (delivery service in the uk)
I purchased a PC case and an elgato mic arm totalling around £400 / $540
They both came broken and the delivery service hid the damaged boxes and placed them so the damage was on the bottom of the box, I didn’t find out until they drove away. Ended up opening up the items and the pc case had a dented side panel and the arm had water inside due to the damaged boxes and it raining at the time.
Contacted Amazon the same day about the issue and had to do the back and forth sending photos of proof.
The said to me to keep the damaged items and they’ll sort out a replacement free of charge.
I agree to this and then a week goes by, I get my new items and then they charge me again for not returning the damaged ones even though they said I could keep it.
Get back o to a live chat and send them the proof and they can see previous logs and agree it was a mistake and they shouldn’t have charged me again. So I get refunded a week later and that’s been the last big item I returned.
That was all last year. This wear I haven’t returned a single item. This week I purchased an item and found out the quality isn’t as expected and it broke when I tried to use the key it came with. Hey it was a cheap item but didn’t expect it to break instantly.
Went to return it and now found I have an abnormal purchasing refund activity on my account. I don’t return items unless they come broken or break within the 30 day period.
I’ve not abused any “refund” method I’ve seen people saying, I feel like this is due to the issue with the pc case and mic arm situation. Is there a way to remove this warning because I have this account dating back to 2016… thousands of pounds spent just to potentially get to banned over a confusion on their end over £400/$540
