What languages do you expect an indie PC game to support?

I've recently added a language dropdown to my game, PLATFORM 13.

Currently supported:

  • English,
  • Simplified Chinese,
  • Russian,
  • Spanish,
  • Portuguese,
  • and German

I'm a solo developer, so I obviously can't support every language, but I wanted to cover the major ones. Are there any big languages I'm missing?

Platform 13 — a subway anomaly-horror. Can you make it to Platform 13? Demo out now!

⚠️ Spoiler warning if you'd like to go in completely blind.

Demo(Windows): Dropbox Link

>!You're alone on a late-night subway platform.!<

>!Every round, a train arrives. Something in the station might be wrong — a flickering light, an object that moved, a strange figure, or a detail that wasn't there before.!<

>!Spot an anomaly? Take the train.!<
>!Everything looks normal? Take the stairs.!<

>!It's inspired by the Exit 8 loop, but things get increasingly unsettling the further you go. What starts as a quiet, empty platform slowly becomes a place that feels less and less safe.!<

I'm a solo dev, and this is a short indie horror game I've been working on. I'd really love feedback on:

  • Are the anomalies too obvious or too unfair?
  • Does the difficulty curve feel right?
  • Do the atmosphere and tension work?
  • Are there any anomalies you particularly liked (or hated)?

Headphones are highly recommended — the audio is a big part of the experience.

Windows may show a security warning when launching the game. If so, click More info → Run anyway. The build is unsigned because I'm an indie developer.

The demo collects anonymous gameplay stats to help me balance the game.

Please tag any discussion of specific anomalies as spoilers so others can experience them for themselves.

Thanks for playing!

Platform 13 - Anomaly Detection (Playtest Now Open)

Game Title: Platform 13
Playable Link: Dropbox Download

Hey, I'm looking for ~10 people to playtest my indie horror game Platform 13 and give some honest feedback. Currently a very early build. It’s a PSX-inspired anomaly detection horror game where you’ll need to spot strange changes to make it to the next platform.

This is my first 3D game and first horror project, so I’m open to brutal and bloody feedback, which you can answer here: Playtester Survey

Cheers legends
