Okay so as you can see night palace is stated to be infinite thanks to a prima guide giving Sonic infinite speed at that point in time however something i noticed is that the prima guide can be inaccurate in some things an example of this is the third image it says that he gets four world rings but sonic only used three worlds rings to go darkspine which are rage, sadness and hatred
My question here is… is there anything else supporting the idea that the night palace is infinite?

Let’s say that game shadow met this girl called hope and she became friends with him but suddenly Mephiles for some unknown reason managed to come back and decided to screw with him by bringing back past enemies from the franchise and now shadow has to fight all of them to protect hope and save the world by himself

If you actually think about it eggman could have perfectly won and killing Sonic in unleashed
Let me explain:
During the intro of unleashed we can see that eggman overpowered base Sonic really easy with the first design of the egg dragoon to the point that Sonic needed to go super to get free and destroy the mech
Later in the game eggman created another egg dragoon stronger than the first one which is powered by dark Gaia's energy the peak of mad science a mech that eggman put years of research to finally kill Sonic once and for all in the core of earth
The craziest part is that eggman could have won if
Sonic didn't have the werehog form
We need to understand that the werehog is still a “super form” since it buffs Sonic’s strength alongside with giving him other abilities (stretchy arms shields the unleashed mode etc) and also because is a transformation made by the dark energy of the chaos emeralds and thanks to it Sonic managed to destroy the egg dragoon and defeating eggman
It’s really crazy that eggman could have killed Sonic at that point in time the egg dragoon and the werehog really deserve the glaze they get
