Charging money for an addon is against TOS, but they are allowed to continue, even sponsoring streams to promote their garbage. The addon is disgusting and goes against everything Classic WoW should be, literally turning people's brains off, also promoting a toxic 'rush to end-game as fast as possible' mindset. One of the worst addons ever made.

$140K dev budget MMORPG just launched into Early Access, approaching 20K subs. It has MUD elements, and they had a playable demo after a week. How did Caspian waste millions and deliver nothing? Guy is a fraud.

Have you seen anybody genuinely complain about the actual game? Let's take a step back for days/weeks/months. Since the very first leak, we were told how bad the game was going to be, how much we'd miss all the great 'improvements,' and hate the 'OP' champs. As it turns out, the old game is better, and all the disgusting additions they added over the years just made it worse, and every single 'OP' thing people kept repeating was either mediocre (AP Sion, Trist) or just straight bad (AP YI).

And 99% of the complaints people have is all the things that DIDN'T exist back in the old game and all the changes/release decisions the devs made that they shouldn't have.

Doesn't buy pots in any game, ints level 1, doesn't go to teamfights, just AFKs top lane all game, and then says "game is bad." He's playing exactly like some Bronze player would back in the day. This guy is high elo in modern League? lol

Don't blame the game when you play like shit, unc. This guy is the perfect example that the cope of "players are so much better today" is fake. Bro is probably losing lane every game to 40-year-old dads that haven't touched League in half a decade lmao.

Nobody wants to vote on "which champion gets released next!" or "how often should we make balance changes." It doesn't matter at the grand scale of the game.

If we don't get to vote on the changes Riot has made that weren't in the base game, aka homeguards, Baron-buffed cannon, base gates, tower nerfs, the voting system and "player council" is worthless and a total joke.

Enough of the pointless debates. Let the players vote. That's why the "voting system" is in the game, just like OSRS.

If you make a change and that has negative effects, it needs to be REVERSED instead of making another change to fix your previous change. That's how Modern League became the absolute mess it is today.

The insane tower nerfs are a prime example of this. When it hits live, it's going to be a total mess. We don't want more stupid changes to fix that; we want the original changes reversed. That's why the game needs a solid foundation so it doesn't lose touch with itself.

They nerfed tower MR by a flat 20 (40 by 20 minutes on inner towers) and buffed AP auto-attack damage on towers by 20% to the modern ratio.

GG Riot, there is no escaping this League of Mages.

Towers are completely gutted, 40 less MR by 20 minutes, take 20% more AP damage from auto-attacks. All we need is Lost Chapter and we got mage bot lane every game just like in modern League.

ADCs are supposed to siege, not mages. This is so stupid. This is how you get the insane 23-minute games you saw on LCS. Towers are the weakest in history; never have weaker towers existed than this.

How bad are Rioters in their closed testing that they gutted the towers so badly and then still decided, “This isn't enough, we need modern Baron buff closing games is too hard!”?

The tower modifier that adds 150/150 MR/Armor when no enemy minions are nearby is also gone, so you can facetank towers. Complete joke.

Don't be surprised if the average game time is even faster than modern League when it hits live.

Currently, they stay at 40 armor and MR the entire game except the outer turrets, which decay down to it. All towers are supposed to have 60 armor and MR as a base, except the outers that decay to that base, and the inner turrets are supposed to grow by 1 armor and MR every minute. They also used to have a passive where, if there are no enemy minions nearby, they gain 150 armor and MR to prevent just face-tanking towers.

So by 20 minutes, the turrets have half the armor/MR that they should: 40/40 vs 80/80. That's on top of receiving 20% more AP damage on auto-attacks than they should.

The AD scalings on towers seem accurate, but the rest is scuffed. This is the type of thing that should have been fixed before PBE, but we are 4 days before live. I can't even tell if this is intentional or just a bug/mistake.

This is disgusting. Homeguards gives you 36 MS level 1 that is almost full Berserker Greaves for everyone for free the entire game. Regular boots are only 25 MS, wtf is the point? It shouldn't be in the game period, but if they insist on it, it should be a buyable boot enchant like it was before, not free and level 1. That's just insane.

None of the old champion kits feel oppressive to play as or against. When you die, it feels way more fair and deserved than modern League with 500 dashes. Riot's modernizations are obviously the worst part of the game; they just ruin the entire feel and pacing of it. Beneath all the garbage, there's an actually fun game in there somewhere.

If anything, this just makes me want a real "League Classic" even more. My "rose-tinted glasses" are firmly intact. Even the worst version of old League possible is more fun to play for me and feels more fair than modern League. I really hope they consider going back to the drawing board and give us a completed Season 3 without the shit modern XP/bounty/Baron buff and all the 117 champions.
