Hi everyone,

My name is Jay, I'm 22, and I'm feeling completely stuck right now.

I moved to the South Coast hoping it would be a fresh start, but it hasn't worked out the way I expected. It's been a major setback, and I feel like staying here is only making things worse for my future.

I really want to relocate back to Cape Town, where I feel I have better opportunities and a stronger chance of rebuilding my life. The problem is that I currently have no job, no income, and very limited support.

I'm also struggling with my home situation. Living with my mother has become extremely difficult, and I feel like the environment I'm in is holding me back instead of helping me move forward.

I'm not looking to blame anyone I just know I need a plan to get out of this situation and start over.

For anyone who's been in a similar position: how did you relocate with almost no money? Are there any resources, temporary work options, shelters, community organisations, or job opportunities in Cape Town that could help someone get back on their feet?

Any practical advice would mean a lot.

Long distance Girlfriend of 1 year and a bit broke up with me today because she needs time to work on herself, I'm 22 and in a situation where I can't get a job because of where I live, she's been down to visit me twice for 3 or so months on end and recently she's just been in a very tough state with her parents being so hard on her to get a job and everything, my mom on the other hand gave up on herself and in turn my life, so I'm alone... She said that she guarantees we'll be together again, but right person wrong time... I'm scared of losing her forever. But I respect her situation and that it's hard being long distance....

So long story short, my father and I never had a real relationship and my grandmother on his side passed away quite a few years ago, and I'm now finding out from a niece that she had given all her assets to me in her will, obviously my father his this from me and now I'm wondering.

Is there a way to claim this all these years later? What do I need? Where do I go?

Ouws, I'm 22 living with my mother in durbs while my girl sits in cape town,

I lived in cpt for 8 years and I would do anything to move back.

But job opportunities on this side of KZN are rough rough, I'm stuck in a loop of trying to find online jobs and they don't work out.

Dropped out grade 11 due to covid, and rough housing situation with mother's ex made it near impossible for me to leave my room let alone my house.

I'm in dire need of direction so I can actually start MY life.

I have no idea where to start earning money.

I've got a high end PC and more free time than anyone should have.

I've got skills in music production and music is ultimately my passion, but it's not gonna out food in the table as of right now.
