[Routine Help] Prescribed BOTH Cabtreo and Tretinoin 0.025% for friction-induced PIH. How do I routine this?

5 days ago, my skin was shedding from a product. I forcefully rubbed the dry skin off, and the intense friction caused acute irritation followed by deep dark patches (Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation) across my forehead and around my mouth. I used hydrocortisone and Aquaphor for a few days, which calmed the raw inflammation, but the dark patches remain completely unchanged.

My Doctor Visit Today: > I just saw a doctor and left with two prescriptions:
CABTREO Gel (Clindamycin 1.2% / Benzoyl Peroxide 3.1% / Adapalene 0.15%) — Instructions say once daily.
Tretinoin 0.025% Topical Gel — Instructions also say once daily.

My Confusion:
My skin barrier was literally raw and friction-burned 5 days ago. Both of these contain strong retinoids (Adapalene in Cabtreo, plus the pure Tretinoin).

My pharmacist said I can eventually use both at the same time, but I am terrified that layering them on my forehead will completely fry my skin barrier and make my PIH worse.

I also get occasional breakouts on my chin, so I am wondering if the doctor meant for me to use Cabtreo on my chin and Tretinoin on my hyperpigmentation patches? Or should I rotate days?

Current Safe Products I Have: CeraVe pm Moisturizer and EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46.

How would you guys navigate introducing these two highly potent gels without destroying a recently damaged skin barrier or worsening the dark patches? Thank you so much!

Seeking advice for service of kia k4

Hi everyone, looking for some advice since this is my first car.

I bought a 2025 Kia K4 in Canada in December 2025 and have only driven about 3,000 km so far. I just got an email from the dealership for my first service appointment.

The service includes:
- Change engine oil and engine oil filter
- Courtesy inspection
- Check & adjust all fluid levels and lubricate as needed

The kia app shows the following under service schedule:
Current mileage: 2,907 km
10,093 km left
190 days left

I’m confused whether I should keep the appointment or cancel/postpone it since the car hasn’t even reached 8,000 km yet.

For those in Canada, especially with Ontario winters, would you still do the oil change based on time rather than mileage?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there,

I’m writing to inquire about the possibility of writing an invitation letter for an applicant who will be visiting the host for 7 -9 months is good or should host write 1 year in letter?Additionally, I’m seeking recommendations for a good insurance policy in Ottawa, ontario. I’ve encountered previous rejections for my applicant’s visitor visas due to insufficient ties, as all my family members reside in the USA and Canada.

Could you please advise on the additional documents that need to be submitted to demonstrate strong ties? Also, if the applicant’s host’s birth certificate is not in English, do we need to upload it in both languages, original and English, and same goes for other translated documents such as property papers, etc need to upload in original and translated ?

Also, If host from canada is applying for applicant’s super visa through ircc portal account which was used in previous visitor visa application and selects no as representative is that okay ?
