How do I become a lichen scientist?

Hi, I don’t know if this is the right place to ask this, or if I’ll get any answers but I figured why not try? I’d like to be a scientist who studied lichen but I’m not sure about a few things.

what school would be the best to go to, and are there any good online ones?

is there a lot to research or doing the field of lichen science?

would I be able to get a job remote or local to me? there’s a lot of lichen around here so plenty to study I just don’t know how realistic it would be

is there even much funding for that branch of science?

can I get a good job with only a bachelors or do I have to have a PhD?

is it better to get a higher degree or to have experience? and how would I go about getting that experience?

is there anything I should know or that you would suggest for going into this field??

thank you for your answers and help!!

I have questions

honestly I’m not really sure what the heck I am. I left a high demand religion last year and I am trying to figure myself out as a person and it’s been difficult. I think I might be aro/ace but I don’t know. I’ve never felt a sexual attraction to anyone and I’ve never had a problem telling people that I won’t date them, just because I know it won’t happen. like not that i don't like them, cuz they’re nice, I just don’t feel that way about them. I’ve been married for almost 7 years and I love my husband but I don’t think I love him the way most people love their partners. like yes he’s conventionally attractive, he looks good, but don‘t really have romantic or sexual thoughts and any I do have feel forced. I love him because he’s my safe person, when I’m around him or when he holds me I feel safe and comfortable and like everything is ok. I’ve never ever been turned on by anyone, like if I see a “hot person“ the most id ever want to do is kiss them maybe. I like having sex but I don’t ever get anywhere unless it’s by myself and I don’t have to read or watch anything to “get off” it‘s just something that feels good and calms me down and helps me sleep.

like any crush that I had was always just me imagining being with them roommate style, nothing more. and romantic scenes in movies make me hella embarrassed for some reason. I usually don’t like them because I see no point in having them in the movie and they add nothing to the story. idk maybe it’s normal to be this way? idk I’m just confused and not really sure what to do.

also I’ve never really felt “love” from other people either. like I know they love me but I don’t really feel it unless I’m like super depressed and then my brain floods me with feelings good hormones but that’s like the only time. idk, any answers should be fine, I’m just trying to figure myself out.

I look up at the sky and wave every time I go out, as if my daughter could see me.

I don’t know when the ISS flies over but I know she waves back whenever she looks out the window.

(not currently happening but my daughter wants to be an astronaut and I promised I would wave to her when she flies to space)

All the questions

So I just got a corn snake from a pet store that was closing, because no one else wanted it and I didn't want it to end up neglected. I thought I had done enough research since I’ve been wanting a snake for a long time but I still have a lot of questions so here goes.

They didn’t tell me what size mouse to feed it but they did say it eats every three weeks currently. I got adult mice since it’s nearly full grown, but I don’t know if I should size up to a small or medium rat. from what I’ve looked up it says 5% of it’s body weight or as big as it’s biggest part but idk if it is a healthy weight or not. should I stay with adult mice or size up?

Im going with a bioactive set up right now, fertilizer free and pesticide free substrate, drainage gravel, weed screen for the barrier, a good couple inches of substrate to burrow in, isopods from a different vivarium, and plants I thought would be good like pothos and snake plants. the pothos got trampled, and the snake plants got bent, would having sticks to wrap them around help with the trampling? how much should I water the plants? would the snake be ok with watering close to feeding time or would that stress them out?

I also want to put better hides since all he has is a plastic bowl on the hot side but nothing else. I’ve got a 3D printer and wanted to do some cool hides and sticks for it to explore on, is pla fillament ok or would petg be better? would the plastic give the snake a reaction or is it generally safe for them?

Also last question. my house is generally at 70-80 degrees, is it ok to not have heat during the night and only have it during the day? also can the plants have light too or would that make the cool side too hot?

Help with AuDHD kid getting ready for school

So I’ve got a problem. I have a five year old with AuDHD, and she is getting ready to go to school. I am super excited for her because she is smart and would really benefit from the socialization! Education wise she would really do well I think, probably better than if I just tried to teach her. The problem is that she has significant meltdowns often and also uses aggressive behavior to get what she wants or to make people follow her rules. She also will not go to the bathroom by herself. If I even step out of her field of view for a second she freaks out. she has a therapist but isn’t really improving and the therapist has not really been communicating well. The only reason we still go is because this is our only option in a small town and we have waited over a year just to get in. I am at a loss. I don’t really know what to do other than just read some books or keep trying to push to work with the school. They haven’t really been clear on what to do either. Should I just give up and homeschool her? Should I just put her on the bus and hope for the best? I just don’t know what to do or how to do it and I feel like I’m screaming for help and no one is listening. I feel so lost.
