Feeling frustrated with the pace of weight loss

I’ve been on Zepbound since December 2025 and so far I’ve lost 25 lbs so I’m about halfway to my goal. I exercise 3-6 times per week depending on my schedule. I have PMOS and some other chronic stuff so I have that working against me. Now I definitely feel stronger and when I compare side-by-side I see a difference. I’m happy with how my level of physical fitness and blood work have improved and I don’t want to minimize that because it’s definitely worth celebrating!

But even then, it’s hard not to compare my progress with what I see online. I’m on 5mg and I often I struggle with eating enough food throughout the day so I don’t think I’m ready to go up a dose. I work with a dietitian who gave me macros guidelines and I have an appointment this week. I’m not sure what else to change in my routine/diet without restricting more food, which I’m not willing to do. I’ll bring this up to her as I’m frustrated and would like to keep progressing with weight loss.

If anyone has advice on what I can do or how to have a conversation with my dietitian, please share!

Hypoglycemia on Zepbound

Hi all, been on Zepbound for managing insulin resistance and pre-diabetes with PMOS. Been on 2.5mg for 8 months and I’ve now been on 5mg for 2 weeks. When I started zep, I was slightly into the pre-diabetic range and as of 3 months ago my A1C was 5.3! Yay! Have lost a small percentage of body weight but nothing significant.

I’ve been increasing my exercise lately to Pilates 4 days a week. I’ve felt low energy/shaky a few times after particularly intense classes so I’ve been trying to be more conscious of eating more carbs beforehand. I started using a Lingo CGM this week just to take a peek under the hood and my glucose has been at an average of 70mg/dl, often dipping below 65. Even after eating a whole Jersey mikes sandwich, my blood sugar barely increased. I can’t tell if it’s an issue with the meter? Or if it’s the higher dose of Zepbound? Dr. Google says hypoglycemia is a possibility. I do plan to reach out to my actual doctor tomorrow but I’m wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences with hypoglycemia on a glp1 or perhaps CGM issues.

Edited to add: I’m also on 2000mg of Metformin ER. Could that be contributing as well?

Just witnessed a guy get yanked from his SUV in the middle of the street GTA-style

Lady with cherry red hair was screaming in the middle of Ximeno by Sprouts, she ran up to a guy in his SUV, yanked open his door, and dragged him out of the driver seat. Car was still in drive, so it started rolling downhill as she ran to catch up to it before she hopped in, did a donut and parked the car while this fool just stood in the middle of the road.

Would love to know what happened between these two. Please tell me someone got dashcam footage.

I’m having fun experimenting with clothing and it’s helped me appreciate my body

Prior to a GLP1, I always bought clothes with the idea that I’d continue to gain weight. Will this still fit if I gained 10lbs in the next 2 months? Is it comfortable or will it cut into my body when I sit or bend over? Are these jeans durable enough to withstand chub rub? I’ve always had fun with accessories but I’ve always felt disappointed by my limited clothing options and that I couldn’t be adventurous with my outfits in the ways I’ve always wanted.

I joined a clothing subscription as I’ve intentionally lost weight, and I’ve re-discovered my personal style. It’s been really restorative for me to experiment with clothes when I had felt so self-conscious about my appearance. Trying on items that I previously have thought would look bad on me has been a great way to appreciate my body, at all its sizes.

Just wanted to share my experience because I know clothes sizing is a common point of discussion and after seeing some suggestions on here, I decided to try a subscription and I’m very pleased with it.

My blood panels look so great that I cried

I have PMOS (formerly PCOS) and all my life I was on the heavier side, I was given birth control, and told to come back when I was ready to have kids. Can you imagine hearing that at 16? I was a kid myself that that point.

I’ve felt awful for most of my 20s and I have a few other chronic health things like chronic migraine and MCAS. I felt robbed of a lot of my 20s because the latter two were so debilitating. Honestly through social media I learned about the metabolic risks associated with PMOS and I decided that I wanted to protect my health by getting to a weight where my hormones and metabolic panels are in range.

And then for a few more years, I deeply explored my relationship with food and set up more healthy and sustainable lifestyle habits. I didn’t see any real improvement with this but I think that it just helped me from getting worse. It wasn’t until I FINALLY started Zepbound in Dec 2025 that all of the building blocks I set in place really started to pay off. I’m on 2.5mg and I can’t go higher than that for other reasons I will not get into here, and I have been feeling discouraged because my weight hasn’t decreased beyond the initial whoosh, so it felt like I wasn’t making progress at all.

But in the past few weeks, I had a realization that I was feeling better overall so maybe regardless of my weight, the GLP1 is still doing something in my body that is beneficial.

Got my blood results back on Friday and my lipids, A1C, insulin, and CRP were all drastically improved, even at a low dose for only 6 months. This is the best my blood panels have ever looked and I’m so happy about it that I cried.

I truly believe that these medications help improve health not just by causing weight loss. I’ve felt a lot of changes in my systemic inflammation and metabolic health. Really grateful to have finally tried Zepbound instead of struggling and not making meaningful change.

Fertility tracker for migraine?

Hi all, a friend just suggested a fertility tracker urine device to see if there’s a correlation with my cycle and migraine days and I wanted to see if anyone else has tried this. If you’ve tried it, did you find it to be helpful? Any specific brands you’d recommend?

Edit: I should have mentioned in my original post that I have PCOS so I don’t know where I am in my cycle most of the time
