Dad Cam help

So, I've been using a Ricoh Griiix, which is my only camera besides my S26U phone, but I usually leave the phone behind to avoid distractions. My kids are a bit older now and actually stay still for pictures, but they're also getting into sports. My oldest does sideline cheer on Friday nights, my son plays pony baseball, and the youngest is a professional insect collector. I've been really interested in M43 cameras because of their smaller size, and I keep coming back to the OM-3. My question is, how would the OM-3 handle being a "dad camera" for sports, low light, outings, and macros? Would there be an advantage to switching to the OM-1ii? I love the OM-3's style, and Emily from Micro Four Nerds' reviews keep drawing me back to it.

I'm currently looking at getting a used setup from KEH camera and found a body, as well as the lenses below; I'm still not sure which macro lens to go with.

Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8

Olympus 12-45mm f/4 ED

Caught the macro bug

I really need to dive into this camera more. My kids are obsessed with insects now, and we've even raised 6 caterpillars into monarch butterflies, with 3 more on the way! They also caught a jumping spider and love catching and releasing roly-polies, lol.

I'm looking for some tips on how to set up my U1 for macro photos a bit better. I've already got it set for macro so I can easily switch from my U3, which is for street photography, to the U1 for macro.

Also, I'd love some feedback on the photos.

I've attached a sheet Gemini tossed to me for an ideal macro set up for the GRiiix.

I know it's not m43 detail in macro, but the kids love it, and it pushes me to explore more with them.

Thanks 😊

Cheapino V2 refresh

So I purchased a cheapino v2 second hand and ended up changing case and switches. If anyone would like to try them let me know. I love the lower profile looking of the case and plan on purchasing some White or Grey lame keycaps later.

Currently have the greenfog switches and some Amazon basic keycaps. The colored ones give me an oldschool UPN vibe lol. Got the case printed at a local 3d shop called fishbowl. Made a smaller cat6a patch cord and tossed a dice as the knob from my friends brand.

Big learning curve switching to multiple layers compared to the voyager but liking it so far.

The voyager was a bit of a cheater with all the multiple functional keys.

So I recently picked up a v2 from offer up. I plug it into my source and launch vial and select Colemak DH (matrix) as my keyboard layout and still getting qwerty. I've flashed it based off the latest firmware on github but i can't seem to have it stick to the layout.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've invested a bit on it already. Trying to have this as my permanent keyboard in my work office and my voyager for WFH.

Thank you
