I use the original connection from Beogram 5500 to B&W 706 passive( bare wire not banana plug)and found the volume is too low. Any insights for right connection and cables to make it work?

I don’t have vintage B&O passive speakers but this 5500 worked well with beolab 4000 and 6000 thru RCA connection.

Bought this one from estate sale with big money. Luckily it spins and reads. But I couldn’t figure out how to take it out from the charging case. I found the manual which calls out how to put it in, but when I loosen the screw in the back, still could not take it out. No helpful videos from YouTube yet, so asking users here. Thanks.
