WillPuppeteer - a combination of WillStuff and PuppetStuff

NOTE: assumes both Puppetstuff and Willstuff

Premise: William Afton is in someway manipulating and controlling Charlie’s spirit, through the Marionette, to do his dirty work (in particular with the MCI). After killing the five children, he somehow got her to stuff the bodies into the suits by making her think she was helping them; hence being a “puppet” for him. This allows for a more literal interpretation of Help Them, but also retaining the edge of Afton stuffing kids (he just indirectly does it through a ScottCon) and could also further explain why she has purple tears; it plays both as how she’s the first victim and is unwillingly dominated and trapped by him.

It also gives an unique meaning to the minigame Help Them/GGGL. In the background we hear letters that spell out “Help Them”. If we apply these to the minigames titles “give gifts” and “give life”, it ends up sounding like a cleverly disguised order under this lens:
”Give gifts to help them… give life to help them.” If my theory is correct, this would be William manipulating a haunted robot sock monkey to create more haunted robots, which I find absolutley vile and perfect for Williams character. But despite myself like this so much, there are certainly some issues I can see arise, yet I think i have a good answer to each.

Problems #1: Save Them. Why is the puppet seemingly free from Williams control right here?

Answer: She somehow received independence from William during FNAF 2, or she isn’t actually indenpendent in Save Them, she is just able to communicate with Gabriel’s spirit. In reality Afton is still controlling her movements, either through programming or maybe through whatever that thing he’s holding (assuming it ain’t a a odd looking hand).

Problem #2: Henry implies Help Them was Charlie helping them.

Answer: Under this theory, he wouldn’t be wrong as Charlie, at least in her mind, clearly believed she was helping the children. But I would argue Afton is still the one giving the orders, disguising his sadism by flowering her into believing she’s giving them another shot. All Henry is doing is mentioning her actual goal.

Problems #3: If the voice spelling out “Help Them” is from William, than why is he also saying “Save Him” and “Save Them” in the FNAF 2 Minigames? It clearly can’t be him talking since he says “You cant” after killing you, which appears to be a reply to the minigame’s spelling of “Save Them”!

Answer: This is possibly the strongest piece against this entire theory, but I think I have a creative interpretation to answer this: it’s still William talking. Even though these messages are seemingly “heroic”, I’d argue it’s still William doing some William. He spells “Save Him” to rile up Charlies spirit, and get angry that she couldn’t stop ”his” death. He spells “Save Them” as he is hoping to get Charlie to give life to the next set of dead children. It’s all a lie. His “you can’t” is the real truth, she can’t actually save them in the way she hoping to. They’re dead, and they’ll be trapped thanks to her.

So yeah that’s what I got. Might be quite lackluster, maybe it’s even really stupid, but hopefully it‘s at least creative and supplies some food for thought!

What are the metadata dates for when each render in FNAF 1 was made?

If the metadata is available, what were the dates each image was rendered in FNAF 1? It’s somehting I’ve always been curious about.

A Public Apology to u/OkLength7120 (And Some Advice on Handling Concerns)

Hello Freddit. Today I want to make a public apology to u/OkLength7120 over the drama that ensued the past week or two.

For context, see his posts from the fnafmeme sub here and here.

Now, while I wasn’t as involved as, say, a certain mod… I still feel responsible since it was my original message to the Freddit mods here that apparently got OKlength banned here in the first place; even though I wasn’t trying to get anyone banned or looking for trouble, my cluelessness over the situation did result in a person getting kicked for very serious accusations.

I feel if I was able to go fix a few errors, this whole conspiracy would been resolved much earlier, and for that I am extremely sorry.

The Message I sent mods named “Concern over OKLength

Background: on May 16, a friend of mine DM’d me about concern they had over an artist named “OKLength”. They believed this person was a pedophile (we both know now this was false but neither of us had the full grasp on what was going on). I went ahead and sent the mods of Freddit this message to alert them about a possible predator.

I tried to be explicitly clear that it could be a misunderstanding, and my initial expectation is that they would have looked beyond what I sent them with the screenshots. I wanted no part of this drama as I was unsure of how big or small it may have been.

Here were my two biggest mistakes:

  1. The mods don’t recieve mail the same way one might get DM’d, even though it’s placed over there. If you don’t write everyhting in one nice paragraph, the mail gets clogged and it makes their job more frustrating and tiresome. So because of this, they may have mistaken the screenshots I sent as being from separate people for a definitive case.

  2. I should have contacted u/Oklength7120 first to describe his side of the story, or in other words the context of these screenshots. I’m not entirely sure why I didn’t do it: it was either I feared he would have made an excuse, or maybe I just didn’t think about that, or maybe it was both. Either way it was stupid: even if I was distrustful of what they may have provided, it would have been useful for the Mods to make a proper judgement.

I feel if I had DM’d Oklength for context, whether I believed him or not, this entire situation and conspiracy would have been uncovered MUCH sooner. I also want to apologize to the mods for thinking y’all were being incompetent

So, if anyone on this or other subreddits are in a similar situation where you are given screenshots that you are weirded out by (that may or may not be out of context) and feel it’s important to alert the mods about, here is some advice:

ADVICE:

  1. Always write your reports/alerts/etc in one paragraph; it makes the job for the mods less tiresome. If the messages aren’t combined they get it sent as separate DM’s And it fills their mailbox, thus making it hard to verify.
  2. if you are reporting comments you find concerning… even if there’s a slight chance it’s out of context… ALWAYS ASK THE USER IN QUESTION FOR CONTEXT! Even if you don’t believe their responses are genuine, it helps the mods in discerning who is/isn’t a possible predator. In other words, share both the comment you find concerning AND the explanation provided by the user in question!

Anyhow, thank you all for reading this post and hopefully this will prevent more conspiracy, defamation attacks, etc. from happening in the future. And hopefully OKlength and the mods will forgive me for unintentionally causing some of this trouble.

To kick off our new sub, do you believe DavidCrushed or DavidCarAccident?

DavidCrushed is the theory that David got crushed by the giant moon prop in the Story Time Showroom.

DavidCarAccident is the theory that David got hit by a car.

What’s your thoughts on Arcade Theory?

Especially when compared to other theories such as Memory/GodVictim, LoopVictim, etc., as in how it explains/answers FNAF 4.

See Gibi’s “Arcade Theory” here

For a little sumamry as an example, when it comes to “Why Is The Tiny Toy Chica Missing Her Beak”?

LoopVictim answers: It’s the future bleeding into CiCi’s memories.

MemoryVictim/GodVictim answers: it’s CiCi’s memories bleeding into the future.

ArcadeTheory answers: the memories we see are literally part of a video game, and the effects of reality are affecting the flipside (the world we see), and in turn affecting the video game we see.

In other words, Toy Chica losing her beak in 1987 affected the spiritual “flipside” and in turn caused the minigames to be altered to match said appearance. So kind of like LoopVictim without the Loop.

EDIT: fixed explanation.

The One Retcon (maybe)

It seems that when FNAF 1 was made, Scott intended that the actual reason the robots could walk around was because they were possessed. This comment comes from the FNAF Greenlight page where the night 1-5 phone calls were already added.

He’s basically saying in this comment “you’re right, 80s robotics wouldn’t be able to walk; they do that because they’re haunted by ghosts :)”

However, by FNAF 3 it appears this narrative was retconned to the walking feature just being advanced technology instead of ghost magic; this was likely to allow for Springtrap’s gameplay (which IMO makes the springlocks a bit redundant if they can already walk but whatever), or maybe also for the Toys if you fell for Ralph’s propaganda.

So yeah, I think that’s the one retcon before FNAF6 that Scott was referring to.

CharlieFirst wouldn’t debunk WillGrief

Defending a theory you don’t really believe in? Yup, I’m doing that!

Overall, if there’s a chance CharlieFirst is confirmed, contrary to what some would say it wouldn’t actually debunk it. Why? Well let’s think about Williams character: he’s a narcissistic scumbag through and through… and being a narcissist he’d objectify his children to “trophies”, prized objects he has achieved during his life!

If one of these prized “trophies” of his broke, he’d be quite disappointed on that happening (even despite having taken the life of another‘s child). It’d make his grieving ironic, and I quite like that idea.

TL;DR: If CharlieFirst is ever confirmed, it wouldn’t debunk WillGrief, it’d just make his grieving ironic.

Pirate Cove was originally where the Freddy’s Springlocks performed

In The Week Before we learn on page 23 that Foxy used to sing with the main band on the same stage, but was later moved to Pirate cove.

>Foxy used to sing in stage shows with Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica, until he was banished to Pirate Cove and left to be forgotten.

We know this must’ve happened before the MCI took place because of the Foxy’s GoGoGo minigame, where he is shown having his very own stage. So why would he be moved?

Well, I theorize that his stage used to be the stage the springlocks performed on; once they got decommissioned and moved to the backstage/saferoom, management moved Foxy over to occupy the now empty stage.

Then the springlocks became left to rot, it turned into his own side show. This could also explain why Fritz is tied to the Stage01 minigame/memory. His character replaced Fredbear and Spring-bonnie.

So yeah, thanks for reading!

I lot of people tend to forget that FNAF isn’t the only series to have different levels of canonicity. Another franchise that had this is Star Wars (at least before 2014). Essentially, there was a “Canon Hierarchy“ in the series; the tiers were:

G-canon: George’s films (the episodes of Star Wars). This could similar to what we call “Gameline” in the FNAF equivalent.

T-canon: Television (think Clone Wars). This tier was more “canon” than other stuff, but G-canon wasn’t bound by it. In other words it’d be close to Canon but it won’t be the Canon. The FNAF equivalent would be stuff like the Security Logbook*.*

C-canon: “Continuity Canon” consisting of comics, books, games etc. This tier is quite similar to FNAF, in that the comics and books would share concepts and characters but not necessarily be in the same continuity.

S-canon: “Secondary Canon”, this ones a little vague but essentially it was any material that were available to be used or ignored as needed by authors.

D-canon: “Detour’s canon”, self explanatory. To put in persepctive this would be close to something like Freddy in Space 2, or Fury Rage.

N-canon: Non Canon. Fnaf equiv would be like merge and stuff.

So yeah, the rumors are true. Scott Cawthon is the George Lucas of Video Games.

“Our Local Singing Bear, Freddy!”

Something I’ve always wondered is why Fredbear was still officially “Freddy” in this advertisement… but I may have an explanation.

See Scott one time said he briefly had Freddy’s name be “Freddybear”. What if this name, “Freddy Bear” was Fredbear’s full name?

I always thought Fredbear was a weird sounding name (since Freddy is based off a Teddy Bear, AFAIK people don’t call them “Tedbear’s” but if I’m wrong someone tell me), but if it originated as a nickname for “Freddy Bear”, that would explain it hence being shortened to “Fredbear”; it might’ve even been for advertising reasons (think Pizza Hut), or again just a nickname for Utah’s favorite bear.

What do you guys think?

Did the DCI get stuffed inside the toys? I could see them fitting inside every one (including BB and JJ), except for maybe Mangle.

If they weren’t stuffed, how did they become haunted?

Edit: just realized I titled “Toy’s” instead of “Toys” —___—

EDIT: I just realized it said police were contacted not notified! In other words, they were probably just given a call or somthing; It’s not a plot hole lol (and the cops are stupid anyway).

As we all know the bodies of the MCI were stuffed in the suits… however I think I found a plot hole…

In this paper, we are told parents noticed blood coming from the eyes and mouths and awful smells (cuz the corpses are inside), because as Ralph says, the eyes and teeth will pop out those sockets if you get stuffed.

However, police were contacted and came to the restaurant! This would mean they at some point looked inside the robots, but they found nothing (and based on the Health Department getting involved, chalked it to a dead rodent falling inside since this is a restaurant business).

A lot of people say Fazbear Ent removed the bodies from the suit per the missing persons policy, and I do believe that’s the case… however there’s a slight problem:

If they removed the corpses when they found them, why did they leave the bloodstains on the suits? It’s said they “thoroughly clean and bleach” any damage found.

The only way I can remedy this plothole is that parents notice blood —> company quickly disposes the corpses —> police come and inspect the suits, but that seems a little too fast, even for Fazbear.

Some have said that it’s the ghosts causing blood and odors to appear, but I find that unlikely because the very reason we figured out they were stuffed was BECAUSE of the fluids leaking!

While I can understand this interpretation, it would imply the bodies might have never been stuffed in the first place. There’s also the fact it specifically came from the eyes and mouths which, as I mentioned, happens when you get stuffed.

So what do you guys think could reconcile this apparent plot hole? Did Fazbear (or whoever they hired to clean) just do a crappy job?
