Peppermill Tech

Anyone know the best way to use the peppermill in close quarters? Do you ADS or just let it rip from the hip?

I’ve been getting hit by a lot of 300 scrap ship zero to hero boarders and maaaaaaan does it suck to get one shot over and over. I use the peppermill as well but sometimes it feels like my shots just aren’t connecting.

I know hit reg is an ongoing problem in the game but was just wondering if anyone has a good feel for the peppermill and can offer any tips.

Lastly, I play on US West servers but I live in New York. Game says my ping is 5ms but I’ve always assumed that’s a bug. Would ping be playing a large roll in this? Lemme know. Thanks guys!

Picked up an Omen Slim 16, Ultra 5 225H 1.3GHz, RTX 5050, 16GB RAM, 1TB, for $850. Looking for advice

First gaming laptop. Got it at a discount from micro center because it was a display model. Good deal or return?

Also would love any advice for daily use and high performance gaming. I cap my FPS at 90 but sometimes the fan will absolutely rip on games like Sand: Raiders of Sophie at medium settings. CPU temp will rise to about 75-80 celsius but GPU stays at low 70s.

I keep it on performance mode and haven’t touched unleashed. I’ve set the battery to smart charge cap at 80% and only use it when it’s plugged in. Any other advice from veteran Omen users?

Still wondering if I should hold onto it or return it and spend a couple hundred more for the 32GB RAM RTX 5060.
